Try using vibrato a moment AFTER you hit the note..not at the same instant you land; and use a very subtle vibrato MOST of the time and it will be even better.
If you slow down the E maj arpeggio just a little and also the bar chords strums later —you will get a more sensitive and tender feel from the piece. Those chord sequences are run by too quickly to savor.
