SOLIAS ARE THE BEST HAIR STRAIGHTENERS IN THE WORLD. The solia was voted the #2 hair straighter on MANY professional sites. The chi is good too but it isnt very "stable". Ive had a chi for ever and when I got my solia there was a BIG difference. Amzing video by the way :)

you could try going through the hair slower, i had the same problem. you could also invest in getting an iron that gets at least up to 400 degrees. Hope this helped... :D

the reason the wavy look wont work is cause the hair needs to touch the outside of it, were it says the name brand the hair needs to touch it and then go in out, in out , in out ...

I Have A 15cm Babyliss Straightening Iron.

@annebrigitte hi, well depends on the model you have usually babayliss is really fast so it just depends, also if your hair is thick put it on a higher heat, and if your hair is really fine use the lower heat's :) hope i helped

You are one of two people I've seen on youtube that curls it the same way as me. I've seen a dozen videos on curling hair with a straightener (I figured it out years ago when I flipped it out from too high on the strand) but none of them worked as well as it did when I do. How hot does your straightener go up to? Mine goes up to 450ºF which is I think 232ºC? aha I don't know the exact number for Celsius but I know it's extremely hot :P

I've heard some heat protectants (like Tres Emme's heat tamer) have alcohol in them, so you are just defeating the purpose. Is that true, or is alcohol only in spray protectants...if at all? :(

it went well! I love the crimped hair look it looked awesome when i tried it. Although i need a liitle more practice on the curling. My curls don't come out quite right lol
