By the way, you don't necessarily need to dance tango to tango music, it's all about feeling the music with your body and interpreting it the way you feel it. regardless if it's Di Sarli or Gotan Project. Pulpo does exactly that with Luiza.
It's actually a lot of fun to dance to something other than classical tango music once in awhile.

For me it shows a great ability of movement, fantastic body work, nothing to do with tango nor with rock. Why not moving like this to a jackhammer or simply a metronome. I also recommend baroque music such as jean babtiste lully ;)

You need to open your mind a bit. Pulpo loves genuine Argentine tango music, but he also loves to dance his own version of tango TO ANY MUSIC. His style involves a lot of smooth ganchos. You know... Pulpo is not making a Tango Religious statement. He is just having fun. I would like to see him interpret SRV's version of "Little Wing". Now THAT would be something.
Art has life. She is evolving. She reacts to social changes and absorbs the emotions of the ones who interact with her.
Tango is such a young form of dance compared to other forms, that it is a sin to hinder its evolution at this stage. Clearly Pulpo and Luiza are a geniuses who have opened a world of possibilities to this form of dance. You may be too narrow-minded to accept this change, but do not hinder it please.

Pulpo, a pesar de que hacemos cosas diferentes, bailamos, creamos y nos divertimos. De eso se trata. Sos un capo. Y especialmente me gusto esto con AC/DC, tal como te lo dije personalmente despues de verte en el Cita hace dos anyos. Segui creando con Luiza, que es otra perla, capito. El Pajaro.

Your concept towards tango is extremely narrow, he is a genius in what he does.
To lead somebody into those steps with musicality and to that kind of music is almost imposible !
