  • this is a very good tutorial for the people who had practiced alot but still sucks in hitting. for newbie, this seemed useless, but for me, its very important to see which muscles he use esp that shoulder+chest and leg+hip hitting. arms are easiest. u can see when all of those are combine, it produces powerful "boom" hit. i usedto watched this as a noob and found nth useful. but now, its fkin useful.

  • @rockmaster987 as a "fat popper" I can say yes, fat guys can do this. Concentrate on chest popping and using your pecs on your hit. As long as you're tensing the muscle and your body jerks like it's popping, you're set. IT doesn't matter if you don't see a huge chiseled arm appear, just that you're seeing a popping motion. Also, if you're doing animation, the hit becomes more of a marker/ tool of starting and stopping moves to keep your dimestops on beat. Just keep practicing, you'll get it

  • the leg pops are actually correct you just have to force a stop at the point where the legs become straight while pulling back then you wont get injured in the long term either

  • @shicheng123 actually the backhit is the result of chest hitting by using the flexing of abs.. if u do chest hit correctly, u automatically do the chest hit.. and also, doing chest hit also allow/accentuate the neck hit as well... so u dun have to purposely jerk ur head to hit ur neck..

I'm sure that it may be explained in Zero's language which looks like Korean (my deepest apologies if i'm wrong) but overall the visual stimulation concering hits is on it.

  • everything but the leg popping is right... if you do the leg popping how he is doing it, you will eventually wear your knee down.. what you need to do instead is flex/pop your quad and if you can pop your calves. that will work much better too and look cleaner.

  • don't do the first knee pop they showed you. it will deteriorate your knees. rather do the 2nd one and try to make it look like the first one.

  • yeah it seems to be dangerous, however Mr.Wiggles told me that its one of basic popping techniques, also he does it frequently... so it depends on how you practice, do a lot of stretching before popping it make your knee tougher.

  • you can do the first knee pop by slamming your heel down instead of popping your knees back in. Greater effect with less energy used :D

  • Hmm. I think this is demonstrating hitting the wrong way. I guess it's good to see how to flex the muscle but each hit should be relaxed way faster. Relaxing is just as important as the tensing.

    I don't even know what nilsranger2 is talking about. He's not even explaining what hitting is in the first place. He just says "move while you're hitting"... what does that even mean? In truth, hitting is flexing your muscles really hard and really fast. ZhenChemical is right

  • nilsranger2 its an instructional video im sure he make a pefect effect.... he is showing how to contract your muscles for given locations in popping.

  • It's not really about the power of it. It's about the tempo, and illusion of flex/contract. That's what creates the pops. So even if you ain't got big muscles, you can do it and make it look good :).
