mac fanboys don't seem to understand the most important thing : IT'S THE SAME SHIT INSIDE!! there aren't any "premium" components except for the battery and the flash storage, the rest are regular components, the same ones pc users can buy from any retailer. You don't have to be a geek to use windows, wtf? it's basically the same interface only mac OSX has the taskbar on the top of the screen ( like most unix based OS's ).
great video you are a very intelligent person, I feel though my experience from building my own PC has left me with a lot of perspective from the PC point of view and I understand how the MAC OS is extremely artistic you are right but it really comes down to the capability of the user. When i use a mac i feel restricted because of the OS but when i am on windows I have a very nice feeling of control.
Apple doesn't just tend to geeks. They're tending to consumers who just want to use a computer and not have to be a geek to run their operating system. And I do use Linux, and it can be just as good as a Macintosh, but consumers don't want it as long as it's a geek tool. That's why all the android owners I know hate their device.

i don't even know where to begin man. the art? have you seen the custom pcs? mine is a in a cheapo case and it's not ugly. the inside is isn't pretty but it functions. why would anyone care what it looks like on the inside? i have worked on a mac and i would prefer it be more like a pc, plastic rivets everywhere. i like the home made bomb look. i also don't get the experience thing, how does it being a mac make it better? i can build a pc for less that will make you compare pcs as a ferrari.
I watched this on an 8 year old laptop with a Pentium M @ 1.6Ghz running Ubuntu 10.04. It does everything I want it to and doesn't get viruses. Also, it was a gift from someone who thought it was too old to do anything with. So, I basically have a free laptop. Linux, FTW.
@maw88ify lol i have linux mint 11 and dressed it up as a mac with a few changes for the heck of it. funny how that's been a good experience with it being on what his buddy calls a home made bomb. it's doing sine. i admit i like the docks but other than that screw apple and their overpriced hardware.
And a big part of a custom build PC is modding the case which is like art ( to me anyways) i mod cases and make some bad ass shit. applesoilder doesn't know anything about hardware hes just a fanboy.
I see what you are trying to say, but applesoilder is not right. He thinks macs will game better then a PC, even when the Mac has a weaker GPU. All he talks about is the CPU ans RAM, but he doesn't know that the GPU will bottleneck the CPU and RAM. so it doesent matter if the Mac Pro has An 8 core, the GPU will limit its gaming preformace. I understand that Apple makes slim and good looking PCs, but they just can't game as good as a custom build PC. He does not understand that.

I know for a fact that DreamWorks uses HP / PC's , and they run Windows and Linux.
So does "dreamworks animation studios" not understand art ?
Linux is free, and can be customized to look way better than Mac .
