These guys are talking about republicans being against the stimulus, Bush personally signed the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008, the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, and the Troubled Asset Relief Program - what am I missing? We're talking over a trillion. Wake up hillbillies; don't let your racism trick you into thinking these two men were different. Obama had healthcare, Bush had the prescription drug plan.
BHO is selling the sovereignty of our Republic in complete contradiction to the principles on which the United States of America was created. Do you wish to be governed by an entity outside of our nation without the Liberty and Freedoms we now enjoy?
Bank of America is the worst most corrupt bank in the world. Bank of America harassed me, ruined my credit, charged me over $800 in fees over a 10 day period, tried to humiliate me, and never stopped calling my house- all because of $50 overdraft!!
In one day I was charged over $250 in overdraft fees because of a company that took advantage of my bank account- BofA charges more fees than any bank in the World!
$1.7 to $2 Trillion deficit in his first year for the "normal" budget. The budget itself is $3 Trillion.
$7,000,000,000,000 to $8,000,000,000,000 (most of it "new" money) in a couple of months. Wow.
The level of debt-driven spending is mind-boggling. He's got room to work. If hope along with currency debasement is what you're looking for then this is your man.
While N Korea is on the brink of launching nuclear weapons and is sharing that technology with Iran, Obama is defunding the missle defense system. He let Russia know that he will remove these systems that protect Europe and just as our scientist were approaching a 90% "kill" ratio on incoming missles, Obama pulls the plug on funding.
Great analysis. This charitable choice gutting is probably something most Americans don't realize, and I'm glad Doug brought it up. Is it any surprise that President Obama is governing as the most liberal President ever? Our actions and associations tell us a lot about a person. This is no surprise to me.
I admire President Clinton's support of Charitable Choice and its protection of hiring rights. Congress and President Obama hire someone based on a like-minded ideology. Shouldnt churches and faith organizations have the same right? If President Obama negates the hiring rights then many effective faith-based groups will say NO DEAL! The tragic result is that people in need will not have access to some of the best help. Thats what I call discrimination!
Great point on faith charitable choice. Why is it that the government is trying to kill private welfare and force people into government welfare? The answer is power.
Doug's comments are astute and accurate. I hope Fox keeps calling him n for his observations. Obama is likeable and a great communicator like Reagan, but his liberal bias endangers family values and America's historic work ethic.
Good job, Doug Wead. I think most of us believe we are in deep doodoo. Whether that has to do mainly with Obama or just his inheritance of untenable situations remains to be seen.

Right on the money. And with time this has proved to be an understatement.

JFK was more moderate than most Republicans will admit. Now they see what a true liberal is.

$800 Billion "stimulus" (plus the "TARP" funds)
$2+ Trillion additional support for banks.

So you folks in Europe like Obama eh?

This is pure madness!!
