@DJpittbull13 well i meant it in a certain way. im not trying to be full of myself but i have a decent amount of trips under my belt after the last 8 years. you have to keep in mind the other emotions and feelings that come with the trip. unless you get some really clean acid, the entire experience wont be exactly smooth. especially for your first time. there will be some nervousness and tension, a little paranoia. i recommend shrooms for the first time.theyre usually pretty smooth throughout.

If one cannot find benzodiazepines, but is able to at least get a hold of atypical anti-psychotics (quetiapine, olanzapine, risperidone, ziprasidone, etc), they should completely stop a trip (if the drug you take is a 5htp-2a agonist, like lsd). Of course, such a precaution is extremely conservative, and should only be used if the user has taken an antipsychotic before, and knows that s/he can tolerate it. And to avoid bad trips, keep your doses low. No need to drown in untested waters.
To the morons in the comments section that have no clue how to stop a bad trip, make sure that you have a few benzodiazepine tablets (alprazolam, clonazepam, diazepam, temezepam, etc) on hand. If you can find acid, you can find benzodiazepines, trust me. Benzodiazepines will numb the visual and auditorial (if you're taking a dpt/dipt analog) hallucinations, eliminate anxiety and paranoia, and can possibly take one out of a derlious state.

I think that the only substance that could have that kind of an effect would be DMT, it really drags you to the end of the universe. You just dont know whats going on when you do DMT.

I've had some experience tripping on mushrooms, and to me it has always been GREAT when you do it outside. 1st time I did it was a warm spring night, and I live in a big time party town... so it was INCREDIBLE.
I did it once with friends at my apartment and hated it. I had an anxious breakdown. I felt like I was locked up.

@Lilwaldie Not really, everything cant change like that. But it can surely feel like that if you are really tripping balls. And if that happens, its just important to enjoy it.
I think that the only substance that could have that kind of an effect would be DMT, it really drags you to the end of the universe. You just dont know whats going on when you do DMT.

i went to the doctor once, (I dont do drugs at all) and they noticed i looked sockley and had dark circles under my eyes (this was when I was 8) and they took sooooo long to try to get me to say i took drugs... worst experience of my life.... turns out my parents didnt take care of me the right way, they also made me a huge apology card... lol

@im0mole start with something small, like weed, then salvia, then so on. try doing herbal tea to make you have werid dreams (such as mugwort). try your best to prepair yourself mentally befor doing anything though.

Lol So me being the dumbass i am took it my first time on halloween when my mom was home so i couldnt go home, but everything was fine with me and my friend till we realized that my friend had to get a ride home cause it was sunday at 9 so we had to ask my mom for a ride and be with my mom on acid trying to have a conversation with her hahahah and somehow i pulled through and she didnt notice anything.

@liger411 lucky, haha , i was in town with my buds once, and we did it, And my mom was the closest ride back, so she gave us a ride, (thank god i live alone without my parents and they dont care) but being in the car with me and two friends with my mom made me have a bad trip from that part, i started thinking the car was going sideways and we were gonna all die . i just went home and layed in bed amd slept high on LSD, It makes your dreams pretty fucked up

Erowid fully prepared me for dropping acid, and my first trip was great (despite having to unexpectedly eat dinner with my friend's parents...not cool haha).

If you have not it i advise you against it. We no a guy who took it and had a real bad nightmare experience and could barely speak. It's dodgy shit and ain't good for you. Thanks to lsd he's now in a mental institution and this is mainly due to lsd. you'll also find all the people who will tell you it is perfectly safe are lying or not clever enough to realize the harmful mental effects. even 1 million people will tell you its safe when it isn't. hallucinating is insanity

Tripping in itself is a form of mental breakdown and you're brain is not in control anymore whilst on acid. THats why some people have taken lsd and thought they were superman and could fly from buildings. I suppose you will still defend lsd no matter what though as you want people to suffer the same as you did from taking it

@1982FMJ while i agree with you about it possible being harmful. there is no true goverment funded research to back your statment up. lsd and its effects have not been studied by scientists. everyone has different hallucinations and the most dangerous side effect of lsd is obviously the bad trips. as for the reoccuring bad trips or any long term effects nothing has been proven. in all acuality you dont even have to trip if you take a huge amount of lsd, that was proven by Baba Ram Das or Richard

@ALXRDRGZ E is a great feeling, you are able to control what your doing. Im 15 & i've been popping them for a while, so far the only long term affect is that i sleep about 4 hours a night still a week after my last pill. dont drink alot of water when your on it, you could get water poisoning. also eat before you take it cause when your on it you wont be hungry & its bad for you. try getting a pacifier or something to bite on before you fuck up your jaws

yea man i did salvia a couple times and the last time fucked my world. i apparently tripped and fell while i was loosing my mind and whatever i was seeing i thought was a page of a book and the only way i could turn the page was to wave my arm across my field of vision, but since i was on the ground my arm would only go 1/3 of my field of vision because it was hitting the ground HAHA so i thought i was never going to escape the book. i will never touch that shit again, scared the fuck outta me.

I've had some experience tripping on mushrooms, and to me it has always been GREAT when you do it outside. 1st time I did it was a warm spring night, and I live in a big time party town... so it was INCREDIBLE.
I did it once with friends at my apartment and hated it. I had an anxious breakdown. I felt like I was locked up.
Every subsequent trip I walked around and went to parties, and it was so much better.
I'm going to drop LSD next week for the 1st time. How would ya'll suggest approaching it?
