  • i used a midi file and a notation software (eg. Notation Composer demo or Finale):

Using a few clicks of mouse i transcribed the melody part into Bb Clarinet and i played the song after i had muted the melody.

    That's all

if you want you can also print a single part using these software.

    good luck

  • What software are you using to be able to read the music and have the accompaniment? Thanks

  • very good ! :)

  • I've been playing clar for three years, and I'm in the ninth grade. I really enjoy seeing people performing. It's amazing. I love clarinet. They're beautiful. I got a new one last week <3 Ah, obsessed. Lol. Great job man.

  • @DannyRooGirl964 let'us listen to something performed by you. It should be interesting to feature the same song than mine in order to usefully compare the performance.

  • Is what your playing on a Buffet R13?

For all of those that want to sound as good as him i would say to invest in a pro. instrament. Like a Buffet R13 it is a GREAT instument and gives you a AMAZZZZING tone quality!

  • Hey Cardaur45, I used to be MermaidGirl, but I started a new account, because you can't change your name on here. Anyway, great video. :)

  • cool dude.

  • hey, that's pretty sweet man!

  • Im still not laughing, you have a good sound there which is better than being a fast and brilliant finger artist who hasn't got that initial sound in place. Good tone well done.

  • I have just started uploaded a new one, take a look on cardaur45.

    Your comment is welcome

  • I will look for more songs from you. I have just started playing and look forward to the time when I can have fun with the instrument as you seem to be having.

  • Maybe you acted as scarecrow instead of music...

    Anyway beware of hunters...

  • what do you mean by a joke or another joke?

  • as a beginner (or amateur) i think i can post my videos only if i have a good sense of humour...

  • awesome! what program are you learning from to be able to play along with the computer?

  • i used a midi file and a notation sofware (eg. Notation Composer demo or Finale):

Using a few clicks of mouse i transcribed the melody part into Bb Clarinet and i played the song after i had muted the melody.

    That's all

if you want you can also print a single part using theese software.

    good luck

  • Please tell me the brand of your clarinet, wood or plastic and what size reed you are using.

    Thanks and sounds GREAT !!

  • It's a Buffet Crampon RC prestige tuned at 442(european tuning).

I use a mouthpiece Vandoren B40 lyra profile 88 and Vandoren 56 Rue Lepic reeds or Alexander both 3 strength.

The Ligatures i use are a Vandoren Optimum or BG Revelation. But after all i beleive that good stuff is not capable to play by itself...

Anyway thanks to everybody for positive comments

  • That's a nice clarinet! I've been playing the clarinet for about 12 years now but what do you mean by "tuned at 442?" I never knew there were like different numbers. You play really well by the way. Keep it up!!!!!:)

  • The "american pitch" is 440hz for the A note.

The european pitch is instead at 442 hz.

That's why two barrels are available for a clarinet: respectively of 67 and 65 mm of lenght.

  • thanks for the explanation:) that makes sense now!

  • Now that's where a portion of your great tone comes, definitely! :)

  • thank you. I play clarinet from almost three years and, unfortunately, my improvement as a player is not as i wished....

But i am tenacious and i will post something new i am just preparing.

  • actually brought a smile to my face!

  • Cardaur45, why do you always say your videos are "jokes" when you're actually really good for someone who hasn't been playing the clarinet for very long? Don't put yourself down like that.

  • Man, you're such an inspiration, I just started playing the clarinet and can't seem to learn fast enought to play the songs you have on here. Thank you for posting, and keep'em coming.

  • your amazing

    i love the song

even though u got the name wrong i dont care :P

    great job 5 stars

  • Thanks to you i corrected the little mistake concerning the title of the song.

I hope you will appreciate my future issue i'm just preparing.

  • you r good as a clarinet player as a fisher! next time wi' ll go fishing together remember to bring your instrument!

see you soon! giuseppe (and antonio too)

  • I didn't know Peter Sellers played the Liquorice Stick?! If you play the "Pink Panther", you'll start a Sellers-lives cult akin to the Elvis-lives controversy! Joking aside, you've got a nice timbre developing there.

  • I saw your other video and was very impressed with how good you sounded as a beginner.

And now after only a year your tone is FANTASTIC. I'm very impressed! It's so dark and rich.

    You should record more.

  • i'm just preparing a new issue.

    anyway i thank you

  • can u plz send me the notes

  • i used a midi file and a notation sofware (eg. Notation Composer demo or Finale):

Using a few clicks of mouse i transcribed the melody part into Bb Clarinet and i played the song after i had muted the melody.

    That's all

if you want you can also print a sigle part using theese software.

    good luck

  • It definitely wasn't bad! I probably wouldn't have done much better, and I've been playing for about four and a half years! You should be very proud of yourself for learning so quickly.

  • many thanks

  • you're probably more intune than i am, ive been playing for almost 6 yrs!! my instrument is really flat.
