GhettoBlasters with the LED Recording Power Meters was the most fancy models, and those Knight Rider Power meter LED cassette radios where the cassette deck(s-some radios with LED LightBars had Dual Cassette decks) are highly *Collectible* today-Especially when the tape decks work still works like supposed to
I have one of these machines. I had it for work for some years and then I forgot about it. Recently I took it out of the attic and switched it on. It worked perfectly. Except that the tape drive belt had disintegrated to a sticky black mass. I've tried installing a new elastic band as a belt but I've no idea how the belt is wrapped around the drive wheel and the two drums.
@Anth0nyWAlls0p You dont want to try rubber bands as replacement belts,-Theres no way to use anything but another Tape Cassette drivebelt of the same size-Why using a rubber band wont work(Unless it is a very tight tension band, then might work!)-Rubber bands slip alot/ the surface of the bands when rubs against the pulley wears out real quick, and IT WILL RUIN THE TAPE->tape speed going too slow from rubber bands shortens tapes life
