Armor has nothing to do with magic damage, locks arent op anymore, they used to be, and we only have one instant cast spell that hurts and thats conflagrate. Ruin, shadowfury, shadowflame, all instants, but not really all that hurtful, you want OP instants, roll a mage

Destro is actually going to be just as viable as during BC, it just won't have the huge raid synergy it used to. I was able to hold at least 1800 DPS solo on the training dummies until I ran into mana issues (not having healers there to top you off). I chuckled at the "...unless you actually have better gear than me...which you dont" part. Welfare S2 + S3 Helm =/= good gear, sorry.

it is bad in the standard that they took rating off of vengeful, brutal gloves are no rating and merc shoulders are no rating.... basically you couldnt play your lock to win any arena and grabbed the free gear

Yeh we can all hit 6k SB with DS/SF on TBC, especially with imp SB. But this is the beta, the damage coeffecients have been reduced, and i am a full destro spec without DS. So here at lvl 70 i am actually hitting high as the dmg had been nerfed here but it has been changed in newer patches.
