@ vsm - CR died a couple of years after becoming a quadriplegic when his horse threw him.

I wept buckets when Reeves died. He was the hope of hundred of thousands of SCI survivors. His relentless efforts for others campaigning for stem cell research funding, his continued career as an actor, and forging ahead as a fine director . . . he's still a true hero.

I'm not ashamed to admit that every time I see this video, I tear up at the end. Reeves wasn't The Man of Steel because he played Superman, its because of his actions after his accident, campaigning for stem cell funding that will hopefully lead to a cure one day. That's the thing too, he knew that they'd never find a cure in his lifetime, but that they might one day and it would benefit others.

For that, he'll always be Superman.
