This "film" was indeed videotaped [in eight days!], and transferred to "kinescope" so that it could be released to theaters before Paramount's "Harlow" (starring Carroll Baker). The narrator for this TV trailer is none other than Art Gilmore, veteran radio/TV/movie trailer announcer. There's space at :46 for a live local announcer to add, "Now playing at a theater near you".
They came out with 2 different versions of this movie. I really wanna see this version. I started to watch the other version because I ordered it from netflix (thinking it was this version) but I couldn't get into it.
Actually this movie was shot on videotape. When I saw it originally in the theater it was videotape, like a soap or a gameshow. Would LOVE to see it again but it seems impossible to find.
thanks sam,i don't know where this clip went....but,iknow it was on a split screen where the picture was compressed in the middle of the screen. b&w ? i dunno...
hi sam,one of these Harlow movies (when shown on tv,the opening scene featured
one of the actresses, either Carol Lynley or Carroll Baker having her make-up done, while, in the background, a second beautician works over a pretty brunette with a vigorous comb-out) Do you know which movie this scene is from?

Caroll Baker looked more like Harlow. This actress is way too thin. I'm surprised they didn't make her gain a few pounds for the role.

seejayla: Don't rightly know. But if it's any help, the Carroll Baker "Harlow" was in color, while the Carol Lynley film was in black & white.
