Here's the thing- I agree we need to watch our media intake but I disagree that media is the route of all evil. Think about it: human beings were violent, into the occult, and unloving long before Hollywood in all its shapes and forms came along. Why do preachers keep using video games and stuff as a convenient scape goat to blame all of society's problems on? If anything, these things are a result of violent, unloving, occult-using people and not the other way around.
Truth is truth, whether people believe it or not- fiction in controlled measures is fine- but it can become obsessive and very addicting and a huge distraction from God.
One of the most important things in our lives is the control of our minds. Our thoughts are powerful. They can harm us or do us good. The Bible says, “As a man thinks ... so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). Many people have troubled minds. We're to guard our mind by thinking on things from above. Philippians 4:7-8.
Those books are fiction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not real, regarded by the writers as fiction, NOT GOSPEL!!! It's entertainment for the sake of entertainment!!!!!
@Brucev7 What subtlety? Are you suggesting its not fiction, not pure imagination, but rather that the writer was fed the story, and the evil therein,by the devil?
Is it not possible to write about monsters and evil without actually being a monster and evil?
4 questions there. I'd really appreciate if you answer them. I think their'e quite fair.
@Brucev7 What a cop out. That says nothing about the books, only about people who are incredibly stupid and far to gullible. Yes, bloodsucking humans, not vampires, are really sick. I agree completely, however, it is possible to read and watch stuff and dismiss it as dumb and a waste of time. Common sense takes care of that.
If you please, my initial 4 questions still stand. If you would take the time. I think it would be interesting.
@Brucev7 Yes, I know. They are gullible, not suited to read that stuff because they have difficulties distinguishing between fiction and reality. The two are actually mutually exclusive. Still, it says nothing about the fact that books do not TRANSFORM people into violent monsters. Those people are severely damaged beforehand.
Ok the questions, please. OK. I'll settle for only this one: Is there such a thing as pure imagination, or does every thought come from either god or the devil?
@Hermy1138 God created the Mind, and the Brain. Therefore, the ability for "imagination" is a 'process' of the mind. The Accuser can not read the thoughts of a priest of the believer's, mind.
@Brucev7 You'll have to elaborate on that last part with the priest and all. Maybe I'm just daft, but it didn't make much sense to me.
Anyway, you've made your case I think. So no, there is no "imagination" If you are in favor of it, its god's work and perfectly fine. If its not to your liking, its the devil's work and should be banned, burned, eradicated from the earth, so that no one anywhere may indulge in it, including me.
Not exactly any gray area there huh? its either black or white.
@Hermy1138 Children of God, Followers of Jesus Christ, are called priests, positionally, under the High Priest who is Christ. imagination is part of God's creation. We are made in His image. That is, body, soul and spirit. Reasoning, Intelligence, Emotions, Imagination, Creativity, Thinking.
@Hermy1138 It is fiction to a point. It is made to look like fiction while still deceiving. Because we embrace it as fiction, we dont see the connection to reality. I ti spossible to write about monsters and not be one, but the stories as we just saw, weren't from the the authors, but of supernatural entities. So they are not the monsters, whatever fed them the stories which I am 100% sure are demons, are the monsters. I hope this answers some of your questions. Feel free to ask more.
Hi Sam, I enjoyed hearing you preach truth. I was curious if you would put together a sermon on the spiritualism of "Christmas." Our family chose not to celebrate or acknowledge this man made holiday for the first time this year all though I've felt the conviction for a few years now. That it was not what Jesus wanted. After much research to follow up the conviction we feel liberated. Hope your ministry is thriving. Peace, Ginger Schmit
@Gingerlee09 The priesthood of believers should just focus on the Savior's birth. Not the Corportism trappings. It's what you put into it. Not about what the date it is.
Thanks for compiling all of this information into one presentation. I knew the enemy was working hard but didn't realize that he was entering the mind's of these people and boldly giving them direction.
awesome video. Continue to expose the lies of satan in the media and it's influence on people.. I use to be a fan of twilight until God showed me that movie doesn't glorify him
Awesome, loved your message! :)

@Hermy1138 Read about stories of how people are influenced by violent images and then commit acts of violence.

@Hermy1138 It does have an effect. Psychologists and Counselors have testimonies and Polic Reports of what evil influences. Your just not open to it.
