For a recreation, it's pretty faithful to the original. Although, I would have made the back walls orange to better blend in with the framing of the board.

He did announce Rikki a little early, however as far as I know, he only announces for TPIS normally. He has studied the timing for TPIS but probably nothing else. I love Richard Dawson, great host!
Did anyone else ever notice in 2006 that they only flashed the lights on the board and behind the families during the opening and after the final round was played? They should have been flashed going to and from every commercial. Also, Rich Fields demonstrates that he is capable of hosting anything; I agree that timing was an issue on this and other episodes, though. BTW, garcia, Ricki hosted ALL shows as series host.
Agreed, but Richard Dawson was pretty much retired in 2006...having him back would've been ratings gold and GS Marathon wouldn't have been cancelled by CBS.
@ngarcia103 Nah. He's become sort of a hermit since FF94 was canceled. Louie Anderson wanted to do a reunion, but Dawson ignored it. Steve "Fake-Ass" Harvey will be the next host. So long "Family Feud." :'(

The intro music was from 1988 instead of 1976. they should have just used one set of music.

Rich should have studied the timing of the old style Feud openings, he announced Ricki way way early.
