Yea I have a $150 snare drum that sounds like a $2000 snare drum. But between DW an Sonar, they in my opinion are the best built drums. Never played any pork pie. Maybe I should givem a whirl.

Im gonna have to disagree with all of you for saying Cobus made the wrong decision by going with DW cause now he does not have to buy hardware and pedals. So it was definitely a good financial decision.

I would kill for that drum kit. Cobus is crazy to give up a mom and pop type company that treated him so well for DW, which is one of the biggest drum companies in the world. I say keep it personal.

@DarknessDrawsCloser I agree with you dude he's now just one of many drummers with DW with UDRUM he was really lucky and they made amazing kits

@DarknessDrawsCloser I totally agree dude with DW he is one of many even if they make great kits. UDRUM are smaller making the kit feel more special to you. I have a kit made by shine custom drums and I'd had a tama kit previously and even though they both make amazing kits I love the shine way more.

@wbrandon300 Yeah but even so Shine are nothing compared to DW or Tama, they are one of the more well known custom companies but still don't have anything on any of the big companies like DW, Tama, Pearl and so on.
