Hleb was my favourite player before he left for Barca, but you have to realize it is difficult for any player, to compete for a first team spot with Xavi & Iniesta in the midfield. He also had to compete with Messi, Henry, Eto'o, Gudjhonsen, Keita, Bojan in 08-09 with Barça in his first season. Then came Pedro, Thiago, Jeffren, Busquets and the rest of the Barça youth products.

As good a player as Hleb was, its still asking a lot for him to compete for a spot at the Nou Camp.
