Looks cozy and spacious enough for one person. Kinda reminds me of a college dorm, but with extra features. As long as you make it feel like your home, then all is good.
@L0RDNIK0N60 how very rude! Good job you are a cute nerd, otherwise I would take great umbrage at your total lack of appreciation for my British sarcasm.
Ity's a good idea to remove all blue packing tape from toaster ovens before using them. The packing tape is not intended for use on a hot appliance. They color it blue so that you will notice it and remember to remove it. If you don't remove it, you may get toxic fumes from the heat-induced breakdown of the chemicals in the tape!!!
I love the bathtub and the toilet/sink; both are very novel ideas and maximize efficiency! You have a very nice living space. It looks comfortable and livable. Thank you for sharing it with us.
WOW!!! U HAVE THE SAME EXACT TYPE OF APT I HAD IN JAPAN - & I LOOOVED MY COZY TINY APT.!!! I was in Onomichi, Hiroshima on the JET Programme from 2000-2001 but that apt. altho a little shocking the 1st week - TRUELY GREW on me!! & unlike the other JET, I NEVER got a bunch of stuff & my apt. was ALWAYS "spacious"!!!
I STILL appropriate some of the cozy Japanese style "comforts"
@Mew4000 Maybe we need a new analogy. How's this: First we'll watch 45 seconds of video shot inside a washing machine (off, not running). Then, after watching paint dry, we'll read some Fine Print.
@TheDrUlises217 people who have learned the hard way not to leave it out.. if you have a small family or are single and don't eat bread very often, it can be quite wasteful to store your bread at room temperature. throw it in the fridge, and it stays fresh for much longer.
@TheDrUlises217 I did because my cat was crazy about bread. She'd tear into the middle of the loaf, eat a bit and shred the rest to throw about like confetti. Putting it up high or in a cupboard made it mouldy, so I put it in the fridge.
@JoeYi84 Not really. It's a nice apartment in the middle of a city and it's fairly expensive because of that. Usually for singles, you get a one room apartment that's probably about the size of my current bedroom. Families tend to get larger ones simply because they need more space. You should check out some other apartment videos on youtube to get a better idea of what's available. :)
Taking shows off is normal everywhere in world. Only in North America where they wear theor shoes from outside to inside.

Hehe, that aint bad at all, I live in Norway and share a similar size space with one more person ^^
Mind you, I'm to be considered poor for Norwegian standards so I suppose that'd be why.

I think this is fine as far as space. And I wish we had a design similar to this in the states for a low cost option.

I miss my Japanese bathroom!! The separate shower with the extra deep tub was my favorite part, that and the instant tankless water heater.
