San Andreas is really set in 1993. Think about it. It was winter in Liberty City in the introduction. It can't bet set in January 1992, because Dre's "Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang" is in this game and that appeared on "The Chronic," which was released in December 1992. When you start the game, the day is Wednesday when you press L1. December 30, 1992 was a Wednesday date. So when the game starts, it's set in 1992, but as the days pass, it's now set in 1993.
