  • She was beautiful in the sixties -- and still beautiful in her sixties !

  • Seriously a timeless beauty

  • She still sounds exactly the same! :-) <3

  • still a lovely looking woman.....alta gracia...

  • Gorgeous at sixty holy shit

  • @WesFulgham I was thinking the same thing the first time I saw a pic of her now. Great genes this lady has (she's French after all ;-) )

  • @MsMotownSoul Yes I agree ,Catherine Deneuve, is still beautiful!

  • She was, and still is stunning.

  • I have listened to a hundred of this woman's videos and songs. Have never understood a word she said; didn't care.....sigh

  • Let her take us on a journey, a voyage through space and time

When clipper ships sailed the orient, with verse and simple rhyme

Inspired by a lady, she spoke a language to the trees

In the forest where she came from, she sang to a Baltic breeze

In Maine she was a lady, a songbird some might say

Like any other ships figurehead, just shaped in a different way

  • la belleza no envejece............

  • Maravillosa Fraçoise, tan bella como siempre.

  • Still beautiful, still adorable, still très sympatique!

  • Mon Dieu. I was so happy to find videos of Francoise. Hadn't seen her since the 80s. What year was this? She is forever beautiful. Well, that's the French...

  • She did not go and hide away, when she got old, like Doris Day

  • Sigue siendo BELLA.

  • Sigue siendo BELLA.

  • oh francoise ! i still love you . you will always be beautiful for me.....

  • Four decades in business and still going strong...marvelous....

What a class she belongs to! (Tina Turner is another example...)

Quite contrary to nowadays boys- or girls-groups promoted by the nusic industry which hardly last more than one season (and usually cannot sing at all).....

  • Françoise tu est toujour tres belle!!!!!!!!!!

  • she is for ever beautiful! I love her>

  • J'adore la simplicité de cette femme et surtout son humilité !

  • L'amour de ma vie ..

  • She's a straight Cougar danm I'd date her

  • I think her long hair with bangs would still look good on her...but with faux leather pants. she is not a grandma looking woman yet...her outfit is for a 20 year old.

  • Ela continua linda!

FRANCOISE! REDEVIENS BLONDE STP MERCI

  • Like Brigitte Bardot she choose not to cheat with time and I admire that type of honesty and courage. Some other French Stars that I adore like Marie Laforet or Amanda Lear have abused with plastic surgery and it is a real pity. Françoise Hardy has also a internal beauty that reveals itself when she talks about life and happiness and all that Jazz.

  • Wow, she's So beautifull!

  • Good Lord, here we have someone mouthing philosophically about his right to call someone ugly............yes, you have the right, no need to plaster it in existential rubbish. You look, you don't like - fine.

I happen to look and I see absolute beauty.

By the way, humans react to compliments positively and insults negatively. We're wired that way, it's instinct. That this trait puzzles bjou is the thing that puzzles me.

  • Sophia Loren. Ageless. Let's not forget her. And she smokes, not good for the skin. Can you imagine what she would look like if she didn't smoke?

  • Well, I think she' still a nice lady in her own season of life...

the problem with Francoise Hardy is that she was and she will always be the Jeunesse...the eternal symbol of youth itself...

  • Well, geez, the lady is in her sixties. Better this honest face than some reconstructed Botox-filled mug like the ones so many "upscale" ladies choose to pay for. Francoise Hardy was a great beauty in her youth, and in some ways she still is today.

  • well said aphidboy. I was horrified to see a recent pic of Faye Dunaway, once an incredibly beautiful gir;l. What reconstruction she's done to herself lately, I can;t even begin to imagine, but she's grotesque. Francoise looks fine!

  • I happen to think Hardy's beauty has deteriorated unkindly. I offend some people who disagree. What if I was told that I myself have become an ugly old fart from an a good-looking lad? If I don't want people to say that to me, shouldn't I refrain myself from saying the same thing about Hardy? I can do or say things in anticipation of how I want to be treated and how people respond, but it would be bribery. I hate to bribe but bribery works so well in our social relationship.

  • Entropy ... I'm not going to criticize him for comment, however, we have our grandparents to love them ... Being alive or dead ...

  • It is always interesting to see how people respond to negative and positive comments. It is quite alright to comment fow beautiful Hardy is. People get angry when you say the opposite. There should always be 2 sides of a coin. Physical beauty can degrade and enhance, and can also change when viewed from different angle, but never stays the same. The same thing can be said about the talent. To many Jews, Richard Wagner is an ugly racist, not a beautiful composer.

  • Damn, she still looks good!

  • Bjou520 is being a trifle harsh. I pity your wife when she hits her sixties and her lips aren't moist enough for you anymore.

  • Age does its thing. Look at Paul Anka today, then when he came out with "Diana" at 17.

  • her sexiness was always the intelligence of her phrasing and how she carried herself so playfully. she seems a bit older in spirit, yes, but she is still wonderful to look at.

  • ...what a bizarre comment...do you, like, think about things before you say them?

  • That happens to everyone who is getting old. And I still think Francoise is the most beautiful woman on earth.

  • Francoise Hardy - perfect stages of beauty. As stunningly beautiful now for her age as she was in the sixties.

  • By many magnitudes cooler/smarter/sexier than slick vapidities like Demi Moore.

  • Sra Hardy, coma un poco

  • just because she's older, doesn't mean she's not beautiful. in my opinion, she's more beautiful now than the majority of the celebrities that my generation finds attractive will ever be.

  • much more than hollywood celebrityes I hate

  • what year is there?

  • Juventud... divino tesoro que te vas para no volver.

  • RoRo3906, I've met older people who are insecure and either dress and act like they're 21, or spend their time complaining about being old. Being old doesn't automatically mean you're not shallow and superficial. Also, being young doesn't automatically mean you are.

You're over simplifying people to try to sound like you're above them.

By stereotyping young people just because of a couple youtube comments, you come off as arrogant and offensive.

  • Yes, she's beautiful, inside and out. Back then, AND now.

I can't believe some of you young people writing about 'youth' are so inexperienced.

My husband and I are both retired. By the time you get older, you're so glad your perceptions (and mind) have changed from being a shallow young person, that you don't really care about looks. Youth is transient and superficial. Mental maturity feels good, is fun and a big relief; you can finally start living a fun life when you get older.

  • billy corgan said it best "youth is wasted on the young"

but she is still so beautiful.inside and out.

  • i dont think billy corgan said that..

  • dude i agree with ya would suck looking amazing, then lookin old n shit

  • While she is still beautiful, even for her age, it must be a sad thing to look back on your younger days and know you can never have them back again, no matter how much you want them. She was one of the most gorgeous women to ever walk the Earth. And she can never have that youthful beauty back.

But her music will live on forever in the hearts of her friends, family and fans. Because music never dies.

  • Why did I get -1 for that?

I said nothing bad about her. I even complimented her appearance now. I was simply stating that it's still a sad thing to age because you it's almost impossible to experience what you can experience as a youth.

  • when you lose your youth, you don't really lose all that much. The things you gain with age are more valuable and appreciated more.

Alot of us older people with we had a career like hers to look back on.

Actually, she's got a pretty good life.

  • She's a wonderful lady!
