I love the look on that other guy's face.. Dropping the bow is common and actually shows that your aren't gripping the bow too much.. A lot of people over grip the bow which can lead to poor shots. You will see some archers with the loops around their arms and they will actually let the bow drop forward when they shoot.

Funny. This happens more then you think. You're not supposed to squeeze the bow because it affects your aim. Once drawn, it should just be resting between your thumb and index. A lot of people will actually draw and aim with their hand completely open.

the way he could have prevented this was to by a sling, a piece of rope which goes around your hand and bow to keep it from falling
