Sorry to say this, but as a Godard fan and a New Wave Fan, I just felt this short being kind of RACIST. Although it doesn't say anything about RACE in the film, but it does have a negativity on BLACK, as why did they have to paint Anna's face like a black person??? Think about it.

I didn't think so deeply. But as you see in the short film, even if Anna's face is like a black person,she still attracts Godard. So I didn't think there is any meaning about Racist. The only way I can explain is that it may be just a sculpt that makes the two Anna different from each other.
