Sorry, that is just ignorance. Global warming and climate change refers to the same thing. The climate is changing as a result of an enhanced greenhouse effect, leading to an increase in average global temperatures. But this also leads to other things as increased precipitation in some places, (a warmer atmosphere can hold more moisture), more severe droughts in others, stronger storms, a change in ocean patterns etc.
Im done talking about this. I would encourage everyone to be free in your thoughts and decisions. Dont believe everything you are told. I love this planet and do my part to preserve her but we must be a people who think freely and just doesnt follow like sheep. DMB fan but definitely see that they're on their last legs as a band. Compare the lyrics and solos on this album with their work on the first couple of albums. Average work compared to what they've put out.

you should put annotations where each song has something on the album cover in it. For instance, on this one, it has the polar bear with a tear in his eye and the mules carrying the float are sinking..or in Time Bomb you can see the alien in the top right balcony

Sorry everyone, but the theory of anthropogenic global warming has overwhelming support among climate scientists for a reason, there is empirical evidence that suggests that the current warming trend is mostly due to an increase in greenhouse gas concentrations. Don't be fooled by anti-science conspiracy nonsense.

Sorry, that is just ignorance. Global warming and climate change refers to the same thing. The climate is changing as a result of an enhanced greenhouse effect, leading to an increase in average global temperatures. But this also leads to other things as increased precipitation in some places, (a warmer atmosphere can hold more moisture), more severe droughts in others, stronger storms, a change in ocean patterns etc.

I respect all u had 2 say but come on, want 2 talk about ignorance. I cant just take murder rates from the 10 deadliest citites & say that average applies to all cities. Sorry but most of u r misled. Most warmin science doesnt use the recorded datas from the "Little Ice Age" we just came out of & for global weather from last 500yrs. I dont have the answers but im not 2 blind 2 see when someone is tryin 2 sell me sumthing n the name of science. Plus I know a little. I have a masters degree in Applies Land Sciences & once wrote a 30 page paper on Soil Erosion Research. I do this for a living so please get ur facts straight. Be free & think for yourself. I agree with you. Just thought Id add the fact that this global warming is crap is the fact that a certain company made over $200 billion last year. That is the only reason they are pushing the crisis is because they scare everyone into buying "green" and earth saving products. Which, we need to spare our unrenewable resources, but everything revolves around money. Just thought Id throw that out there.

@jwgray10 im really not trying to be rude, but you are astonishingly ignorant about global warming mostly because the record snowfalls can actually be explained by global warming. the global warming theory never said every single climate would be hotter. it actually said that the world would have hotter summers, colder winters, harsher hurricanes, etc.
again, the global warming theory just says that we will have more extreme, unpredictable weather, not just "warming."

DMB fan but definitely see that they're on their last legs as a band. Compare the lyrics and solos on this album with their work on the first couple of albums. Average work compared to what they've put out.
Can't blame them, every band goes through it. They're still the #1 touring band, but to go from listening to #41, Two Step, and Dancing Nancies live, to these songs...bleh.

Btw, it's not called global warming anymore, it's called climate change. Over the past few years, we've noticed that some places are getting colder, deserts are growing, etc. etc. I do think though that song actually refers to the rising temperatures though.

I'm pretty sure that the song is saying that the victims of hurrcane katrina probably could have done more for themselves "dive in" [fishing for food]. Also, I noticed that if you aren't paying much attention to the song "bear" sounds like "man". That entire stanza reminds me of when I heard on the news back then about people in the stadium shooting at the aid helicopters becuse they were upset that aid had not come sooner. This does not represent my opinion.
