Wow, I forgot how idiotic youtube is. Only here can a very helpful instructional video turn into a preschool-worthy flame war about operating systems. If you're happy with your mac then congratulations, but stop mouthing off at PCs every fucking chance you get and touting your macbook like a toolbag. If there's one thing that Windows users can do that Mac users can't, it's being able to shut their mouths for more than ten seconds.

yeah i used to build my computers but at the end i realized all this nice hardware isn't worth destroying with a shit OS like windows. Mac just makes all your hardware work to its full potential and in beautiful harmony. For example, I can load a shit load of programs on my mac and still run pretty fast. Basically, with mac, you dont have to worry about "technical" shit and can worry more about what ure actually doing in ur computer allowing you to be more productive...

also ever since ive had a mac, i've noticed i dont rely on my computer as much as i used to because i dont have to spend time fixing and ugrading it. My macbook can last a good 4 years but in 2 years i'll get a new one just to be up to date.

no. That's the adobe file. What you need to do is save the file, and it will take time to render. Mine for this one took 30 min with a NVIDIA 512mb video card. So it will take a while, make sure when you click save like i told you, you click the save in the lower right hand corner. If you liked the video, please rate and subscribe. The maximum needed bit rate is 4600 Kbps and for widescreen we upload 1280x720p resolution (not 1920x1080p),MP4 format.

Everything farther increase is waste of time.

Please don't insult my intelligence. Or at least buy the program and actually follow ALL the steps in the video. I said to watch the whole thing 3 times. 1.I didn't change the bitrate. 2. If you watched the whole video, you would see that I did upload in 1280x720p, i just started with the 1080i preset, then customized it. look at 2:47 if you want proof. 3. Premiere exported in .m2t format. I'm sorry if imovie didn't. m2t is also an mpeg-2 format video.Just like mp4. Check your facts, my friend.

Goole and dowlnload VirtualDub, and extract it from the .zip.

Now,open VirtualDub and in virtualdub, open up your video file. When its open, Press [Video] > [filters] press [Add] and in the window, scroll down and double click resize. Now in that window, under "Aspect Ratio" check "Disabled" now under "New size" in the top left box, type in 1280 and in the top right box, type 720. Press OK and clost the Filters window. Now press [File] > [Save as AVI] and save the file.

Got it. Double click on the preview. A box surrounding the video should come up. Manually strech it from there. Hope this helps. But the proportions will be screwed up

well i dont have element, but what i did was record off a projector using hdv camera and then my dad rendered it in wmv, sicne wmv couldnt upload to utube i converted wmv into h.264 codec and it is in HD except it isnt it widescreen, am i not supposed to convert a file twice ? lol

You can convert a file as many times as you want. If it was recorded using an hd camrecorder it should be widescreen. And, as far as Im concerned, m2t is the only format that works. But, if it is widescreen H.264 24fps, 720p it should work.

If it is, you didn't click the right save. Don't press ctrl+s. Once you make the preset and save the preset, click the save button in the lower right hand corner of the Window. Then it should say rendering, and should give around a 30:00 estimated time, depending on the length of the movie

Adobe premiere Elements is Definetly not free. Its $60. But you could pirate it, although mine is completely legal.
