@KarateChamp18 not WTF, which is a style of it. WTF if sport taekwondo, I do it but my master was in the military and was police officer. He also did muay thai and judo and all that stuff. He mixes it in and is giving us actual combat skills since he finds it more important than sport taekwondo. But the funny thing is a 14 year old blue belt at mine beat up a 16 year old black belt like 2nd degree or something from another school. And the boy wanted to spar in the first place.

Why do they not use their hands to defend themselves? Why do they not punch? TKD could be so awesome if they would just remove the body armor and headpiece and allow punches to the face. It should be continual combat, not point fighting. You could learn so much with this art if only they acknowledged at least one of the other weapons a human body has aside from the feet. They don't even acknowledge punches as scoring attacks most time... TKD + Boxing + Judo = Poor man's MMA
