1968 Barn Find VW Beetle.... First Trip

Sounds so sweet. What is the mileage or km on the odometer.? I own a -68 1300cc sahara beige beetle,it`s a rusty projeckt,but i love it. Keep up the good work with your old lady. Cheers from Finland.

cool! love these ones! my aunts husbands grandma had one, its sitting on my aunts yard. the grandma is the only owner and its all original, sadly its been sitting for like 6 or 7 years outside so its all green and moldy, could probably start if you gave it a chance.. poor old bettle..

Absolutely. It ran twice as good and quiet on the second half of the trip than it did on the first half. An elderly mechanic I once talked to called it the "70 mph tune-up" Old ladies who drove 20 mph everywhere would bring their cars in for rough running, so he'd take it out on the highway for about 50 miles at 70 mph, blow it out good, and charge for a tune-up. lol
