Thanks Maile!! This video is gold. I took my site from 66/100 PageSpeed to 86/100 PageSpeed.

I now rank consistently high (first page) for all my 10 key phrases. I believe this has to do with how fast my site loads now - along with the content tweaking I did a few days ago.

I use feedburner (from google) on my website and i'm getting no image dimensions on the content provided by feedburner "BuzzBoost" and 2hours for FeedBurner counter image.

Images privede from feedburner buzzbost are also not compressed.

Could you talk with feed burner team and then give me a reply? Thanks a lot.

@dtman83 It was their website: Google. :p They have no control over other people's websites.

Page Speed had to be removed seeing that the tool itself interfered with the site. Adding Page Speed was exactly coincident with a dramatic one-time drop in Googlebot crawl stats, pages crawled per day. Page Speed was removed completely. The crawl stats immediately restored to previous ranges.

If I had more control over my shared windows hosting account, I would definitely implement a few changes (like cache gzip etc), AFAIK, there is very little I can do until I upgrade hosting.
