@mcjmetroid While many, many 8-bit mixes on youtube are actually gashisoft midi conversions (not true bit at all, a chiptune artist can hear the difference in a second. If it sounds anything like a guitarpro tab being played back, it's probably gashi), mine are all hand written, famitracker or vst emulation driven (aside from my c64 tunes, in which I use it's trackers) chiptunes. I did add some post production reverb, and analog drums to this mix.
Ya it's the extra reverb and analog that stood out to me. Those are the parts I most enjoy about it, like an enhanced NES piece. Sounds excellent! Inspires me to try something like this myself actually, I mostly do original stuff but I can change :)

I'm usually skeptical about these 8-bit mixes.... to be fair this sounds more 16-bit but I love the sound of it :)
