@hpjunky70 - impurities are removed via a copper scouring pad placed in the vertical column that comes off the pot.

@ronnie5000 see, all u need is a small metal pipe, or glass, and a bulb to put the crystal in, it also needs a hole for air to come it, then you cook up the rock. Boom, you got your self a meth pipe.

You may need to find some kind of plug to seal the edges of your coffee maker

just use a light dimmer to reduce the electricity of your distiller -that way you can reduce the heat of the element.

Actually,your coffee pot will get up to atleast 210 degrees...You'll have to figure out a way to turn the heat down with a regulator if you was going to use it for a moonshine still...If you didn't,your wasting your time...

@MrNastytater - The contents of the pot won't get past approximately 172 degrees unless ALL the ethanol has evaporated. If you closely monitor the temperature, you won't need a regulator.
