Its really all about the enclosure, how good it was built, and tuning. That is what makes a sub pound. Me personally, I don't care for loud bass, any jackass can do that. Im all about hitting powerful lows, hence the reason I tune to 28hz.

So no offense, but 139 at the headrests really turns in like 132-135 tops at the dash. Im hitting 151.3 at the dash with a incriminator audio warden 12 in a 2.5 cubic ft box tuned to 50hz and pushing 10k clean power through it. At the headrest im at almost 154. Placement, tuning, and the ability to push clean power through your system makes the world of difference.
