Most of whats put on youtube are useless slideshows by overzealous teenagers who put pictures of a frazzled older Hussein to a nice soundtrack of death metal or gangster rap. Does anyone care at all about his ideologies?? Saddam only resented us because of the Gulf War which was simply had nothing to do with Islamic fundamentalism. The reality is that secular strongmen like Saddam are what we need in the Middle East.
I disagree about the Saudi's though, I think it's good to have a strong, pro-western monarchy like the Saudis in the heart of the muslim world.

i met Saddam a few times when doing business in Iraq in the early 90's. He was a very polite well mannered man. He even had a very good sense of humor. I was sad 2 see him die the way he did. He in my eyes deserved better than that.
