In response to the last comment, Jan is indeed alive and seemingly well, clean and sober and living in Mississipi with is lovely wife Anna, drinking home made lemonade, according to an article in the Globe in August 2009. He looks quite good, certainly better than on the Insider interview in 2007 and seems happy.

They say that Art follows life. Jan Vincent has suffered from Chronic Alcolism his whole life. I don't even know if he is still alive today.
