As a conservative, and a father, I have mixed feelings about this. I would be proud if my kid were this astute and able to handle the responsibility, work and dedication of phone work. I think people too often underestimate their own children and what they can handle. Although I oppose all that radical Liberalism stands for, this kid is great.
He's obviously frustrated on the call, but retains a very adult demeanor.
He strikes me as a very old soul.
Hopefully it will not be too very long before he is exposed to some Conservative philosophy. He strikes me as one that is intelligent enough to be Mugged By Reality.

As a conservative, and a father, I have mixed feelings about this. I would be proud if my kid were this astute and able to handle the responsibility, work and dedication of phone work. I think people too often underestimate their own children and what they can handle. On the other hand, I'm really concerned that we've got a guy in the White House who understands the power of indoctrination. I think most parents would want their kids to be politically neutral until at least their teens.

No society on earth has ever been 100% capitalist. Social programs have been around since the 1920's with social security and other programs. Funny thing is how people cry socialism when they benefit from these programs. Anyways i hope conservatives keep this up because they are only marginalizing themselves.

People aren't crying Socialism, they're taking the President at his own words 'economic justice' 'spread the wealth around' 'i'm a proponent for single payer healthcare' and so on, and listening to his cohorts who are even more direct and vocal about their distaste for free markets and capitalism. I never said the US was 100% capitalist, we've got plenty of social programs and it's a noble and wise thing to have many of them. But where is the line drawn? The gov't is going over 40% of GDP now.

He hasn't passed much yet because moderates in his OWN Democratic party are saying Whoa to very liberal policies and language in the healthcare bill and cap & trade etc. Pelosi tried to cram the healthcare bill passed everyone back in August with no review or input from the GOP. I'm independent and just feel bipartisan bills are best. Clinton had a great economy with GOP balance from the house & senate.

Iran is talking? Iran just gave the US and UN the finger. N. Korea has been shooting missles into the Pacific. And the GDP grew this past quarter temporarily due to massive gov't spending on a Chinese credit card and it isn't sustainable. Watch and see the auto sales plummet in Q4 & unemployment climb over 10%....I don't know what world you're living in. The stimulus bill will go down historically as the biggest waste of money ever!
