  • mandymommyof3, may you and your family be blessed!

  • So happy for you! We will be doing the same, Pregnant with our 4th at this moment, and I will VBA3C! <3 Thank you so much for posting!

  • @mandymommyof3 may you and your family be blessed!

  • when u say you quietly laboured...wow... labor was so panful for me. no way to be quiet :)

  • Thank you all for the kind messages. I will pray for the best on your journeys through childbirth and motherhood. God bless!

  • so u were one of the lucky ones that didt have painful contractions :) i tried for a vba2c but it was wayyy too painful. "baby stressed", no pause between contractions, no support, csection. :(

  • OMGOODNESS, I AM TRUELY AMAZED, and NOW I KNOW I CAN DO IT TOO..with FAITH in OUR FATHER WE CAN DO ANYYYYYYTHING <3<3 Thank you for posting, and I feel soooo much better now about VBA3C, I was going to Trust in God no matter what..but you really inspired me too. Also I LOVE HER NAME..IT'S JUST PERFECT!!

  • WOW

I'm on tears! Faith was born on my 30th birthday !!

I know exactly how you felt, I had 2 c-secions and decided to stay home for the birth of my 3rn child.

She was born nov 5th 2009, 41 weeks of pregnancy, 4160g (9.18 pounds), at home, with my husband, my midwife/nurse and some friends.

    Thanks for sharing with us!

  • Ok so I am 20wks pregnant super emotional, and had 3 c-section myself...OMG! I am in tears...thank you for the inspiration! I am still afraid though. My Lulu is only 14 months, by the time I am due she will be 19 months, soI am afraid it is too soon, and I might tear.

  • thank you so much for this video! i know i can do this! i am also a vba3c , iwant it os bad! my last 2 were also supposed to be vbacs @@ but ended up with 3 c-sections for no reason other than them wanting to get it over with.. i am going to have my vaginal birth this time. im not backing down!

    congrats and thanks!

  • Nice family

  • What a lovely vid. I am so glad you got to experience a natural home birth. For me home is the best place for me to give birth. I have had 3 home water births after a hospital birth (not c section though). My 2nd DD is also named Faith :)

May God continue to bless your family.

  • I'm encouraged, thanks so much for sharing our story...I'm a mw waiting on a mom who is a vba3c she is due today...My hope & prayer is that it will turn out like yours....I too have faith.

  • Wow! I am in tears...your story (up until #4 sounds SO similar to mine.) Our first two children are born within months/days of each other respectively and we were sectioned for the same reasons. #3 was going to be a HBA2C, but she came 1 week too early to legally do it :'( I have hope and faith for #4 but am already having a really hard time finding someone to assist. So happy for you and praying that I get the same outcome. What a blessing and what beautiful babies! Congrats and God bless!!!

  • I know exactly how you feel.

We had first planned to travel to a birth center in Texas but it just seemed too complicated for all of us to go there. Then we decided to have a midwife travel to us.

We simply prayed to the Lord for guidance and things just started falling into place. Some doors closed while others opened and we just 'knew' that He was moving all the pieces.

I hope everything works out well for you and your family.

You will be in my prayers!!!

  • Wow I mean that is really vilifying the c section. Alot of dr's are afraid of rupture after you have had more then one or even just one c section. My Dr has seen the worst. everyone is different and some are not good for this option. My kids were born at a hosp ina c section operating room. In the middle of laughing Dr's and parents. it was warm in there and I saw them right away. It was a teriffic Experience. I am sorry that yours was not. But its not like that for everyone!

  • I'm glad that you had a wonderful experience, that is the way it should be.

I think the rupture scare has been blown waaay out of proportions. There are other interests involved.

I have no intentions to vilify c-sections. I was fooled into 3 unnecessary cesareans and I am here to speak 'my truth.' These were 3 major surgeries for no real medical reason and I am not at all happy about that.

"Vaginal Births After 3 Cesareans are totally possible!" Even VBA4C and VBA5C.

This is why I decided to even make my video. I want to get the message out. We shouldn't just follow someone elses agenda.

It is important to be well informed and make decisions based on knowledge and facts, not fear.

    Remember knowledge is power!

    But Faith is the key!!!

  • @massageplease Wow I haven't even watched your story (yet) and i'm already inspired, I've had 3 cesarean's & two were VERY unnecessary, The same Doctor delivered all 3 of my children. With the last two he said I should just schedule a c-section bc I might rupture, so ofcourse I "thought" he had my best intrest at heart but now reading/watching alot of these story's I see how some Doc's really dont & are just in a hurry..just think about it..30hrs verses 30minutes?

  • @massageplease

    (cont.)

Also My Husband and I really want more children too, but i'm a little scared about the rupture, but My Husband's not scared at all because he said we will just keep our STRONG Faith in God/Jesus. So later this year we are gonna try for another, and this time i'm going to find a different Doctor but i'm worried because a new Doc won't know my body like the Doctor that delivered all 3 of mine other's. But i'll just keep the Faith in God. Any advice you could give me?

  • @massageplease

cont. again (sorry for so many reply's)

I really want to experience giving birth the natural way. Oh & my Doc also said my scar tissue was too thin, I mean what if I went into labor in the car or something and it did rupture? I think I just need to do ALOT of research, and ofcourse i'm gonna just trust in God that everything will workout as planned, I'm going to watch your video now, although you already inspired me, thank you soo much, and GOD BLESS YOU.

  • thanks for telling your story,u give me hope!!!

  • YAY!!!! way to go!

  • This gave me so much hope that i too can have a vba2c

  • Thank you for sharing your triumph through faith :)

  • Has anyone ever heard of a vba3c where the woman's incision is up and down on her uterus, not lower side to side?

  • What a beautiful story and even more beautiful ending...I am pregnant with our 7th and have had 6 c-sections...I found a Doctor/Midiwfe who wants to assist me with a homebirth...I am due in August...and I so much want to have this baby the way God created my body to birth...

  • Be blessed! I will pray for a wonderful birth :)

  • Thats awesome. I am preg with number 3 after 2 c/s and want to VBAC. How motivating!!

  • Go for it!!! ;)

  • My second baby was born breech, but still at home. It was a great blessing to have a midwife that would do that.

  • Absolutely beautiful!! It brought tears to my eyes. I know how much it means to be able to birth your children at home. I had my two children at home and I would NOT trade it for anything!!

  • Seeing this video really helps me to put Faith in God over fear. You have given me a giant push to not be afraid to HBAC. Thank you so much!!!!!

  • Thank you so much for this beautiful beautiful. I made the mistake of going to the hospital to trust them with the birth of my daughter, all all they did was push interventions and put me "in my place." I refused pitocin so they said"Okay then you have to have a c-section." I love my daughter but the pain of feeling cheated is very real.

  • I know exactly how you feel.

  • Awesome, awesome, awesome! God made us to do this... you are such a testimony to women! Keep spreading the word about how safe, and fulfilling homebirths can be. Let's stop the lies that the medical world is spreading!

  • I too had a 3 c sections. I'm hoping I can do it with the 4th baby. I just got to have faith.

  • this was the most beautiful video

  • omg congratulations, I am 13w pregnant with my 4th and keep getting told I iwll have to have my 4th csect, I want a VBA3C :( Its so hard to find info and support and I want low intervention this pregnancy but am high risk so they 'wont allow it' your story was incredible, I can only hope I get a similar experience to you.

  • Beautiful!! <3 <3

  • how amazing. I so wanted a homebirth but was unable to. Enjoy Faith!

  • beautiful video! beautiful birth! thank you for sharing.

  • How inspirational! I'm pregnant, and praying for a VBA2C. It's easy to get discouraged, but still we're moving forward. Congratulations! A wonderful, moving presentation.

  • Children are such a wonderful blessing to our family. We are so happy to have them and they are always welcomed here :)

  • you run your life and she can run hers.

this mother is so strong and believes in her ability to give birth the way nature has intended. there are so many unnecessary interventions pushed upon women in the hospitals and they are made to feel like they have no other option. doctors perform most of these interventions out of convenience to them. and yes it does matter how a baby gets here the meds given during a section have been know to cause all kinds of problems for the mother and baby.

  • I cried when it said you named her faith. beautiful video!

  • Congrats, shes beautiful! I am in the same position you were then. i had 3 c sections too... want a vba3c. i havent lost faith, but dont know where to find support and midwife where we live in reidsville, nc. any ideas?

  • Join the ICAN-online elist. There are traveling midwives who frequently post there. You can get a list of traveling midwives on the elist. We hired a traveling midwife who came to PR for the birth. OR, maybe you would prefer to travel to the midwife of your choice. Some health insurance companies will cover their services even if you birth outside of NC.

Keep up the faith. A mom on ICAN had a VBA6C. If she did it, you CAN too!!!

Let me know if you need any more help finding a mw.

    Iris

  • Glad you finally got the birth you wanted.SO glad all is ok with you and precious Faith. :)
