Hey guys. I really need help on my airport tycoon 3! It is really far on and i just got a really good contract! but then it suddenly crashed and turned off:( luckily i had just saved it before it crashed but when i went on to load it it came on as a brand new airport starting from the beginning! plz i really need help.

This game could have been so cool, except they made 3 versions of the same broke ass game........You speed up the time but only the clock moves faster, nothing else the planes don't arrive or depart any faster, so your flight plans get all screwed up.......

That's because they have to pay rights to use the name douglas. They just changed the name into duacless so they can use that name a little and don't have to pay rights.

easy, first you need administrations for handeling contracts or you can't get any contracts. and than you need time :p and luck , i got 2 master contracts and 32 flight contracts in one year. And perhaps , if you are lucky , you can get contracts for hotels, stores , gasstations , etc... and don't forget to open your airport!

You have to wait a couple of days, turn the >>> on and you will get a offer from a master airline. if you have accepted that contract you have to wait a couple of days again (mostly 10 around 10 days) . You will get a flight contract. Accept that contract and you will get airplanes ;)

i could never get going in this game. problems rite from the start. i open airport and done my customizing n stuff had all right buildings to get up n running. but then i get like 1 plane every 20mins. n like some contracts but no planes, then it just goes on from there like planes go through vehicles and stuff. is this game actually any good and how long till get going?? i wish they would make a new 1 more upto date and proper graphics engine

They would actually have to support their product for there to be any patches. Support in itself would require a support team which they substituted for an auto mailer that says "so sorry, hope you game works later." instead so no, there are no patches.

Either that or add a "My tourist" view where you can control a traveler, kind of like the sims. Send him or her through security (to check the effectiveness), grab a bite to eat, etc. This way, you could really see what your airport looks like from the eyes of someone inside it. this would give the player something to do while he is waiting for some contracts (considering he has already established and organized his 5 airlines).

This could be difficult to design. But, still, show some effort!

I think you should be able to make your own airlines. Although this would make the game "unrealistic", it would certainly solve the problem of waiting for contracts. so you could make, say for example, up to 5 of your own airlines to get your airport onto its feet (all the while getting contracts from other companies as well), and send them to other airports in the world. you could then watch your planes in flight, and make your airport its headquarters as your company and airport expands.

In order for this game to SURVIVE, the player should be able to:

a. Look inside ALL buildings and add items as he/she pleases, like securirty checkpoints, waiting areas, etc.

b. make it 3d. come on, i know it might cost a lot and slow down our computers, but seriously-the game looks pretty bad from this video.

c. be able to see people! is that possible in airport tycoon 3? not from what i see i don't own the game.

But from this video it seems like the graphics are horrible and there is a lot of wait time.

I`ve also read reviews that claim the game is bad.

What is your take? I love Sim City and strategy games like that so it seems like I would like this game too.

airport tycoon is kind of fun but gay at same time, u cant build more than 4 runway and 4 terminals O_O and u cant demolish runway or termials. WTF, look at LAX 10+ terminals (plus cargo)!!!!!!!!!! look at O'Hare 10+ Runways O_o!!!!!!!!!!!
