  • Marth's voice was okay, but expressionless.

Sheeda's voice hurt my ears, and I have no idea as to why I am awake, at 11:55 pm, when school is in the morning tomorrow, on my iPod.

  • ppl OMG Caeda is the current american spelling

  • women...

  • nice!

  • LOL. Marth when he yelled for Shiida made me laugh so hard. He sounds so bored.

  • haha nice job

  • This sucks dick.

  • cute!

  • You know this was released in english

  • the guys voice is hot!!

  • your voice was loud but I still really like it. It would be awesome if you could dub the whole series

  • Awesome but that was loud!

  • wow your loud......lol nice video

  • 5 stars awsome

  • that is really good acting. Bravo! :D

  • God damn. the girls voice is too loud.

  • I'm sorry, but I agree...

  • great couples marth is my fraz im using my moms acount

  • what made the vid was Sheeda. it would have been better is Marth had at least some emotion or exasperation into his voice. he seemed sort of.. robotic? i should say.

  • wait how many of these were made .........1:10=puppy

  • Marth looks weird in anime version........

I'm making an anime of all animes in Gates between dimensions.

  • you spelled Sheeda wrong its spelled like this Sheida and i can't find this anime in subtitled! T_T

  • Actually there is no official translation for her name. The general concensus amongst fans is that it's 'Sheeda', which is how it's spelled in the main fan translation. I am aware though that the sub says 'Sheida'.

  • Of course, the official English version is Shiida in the UK and Caeda in the US. I like Caeda better because two I's looks weird. You're apparently supposed to pronounce them the same way, See-da.

  • Really? I saw 'Caeda' when I booted up Fire Emblem DS and immediately cried blasphemy for the name change, but I guess if it's pronounced the same I'll let em have it. I was going around pronouncing it 'Kai-a-da'.

  • I think the US translators interpreted it as a feminine version of Caesar or something.

  • That dubbing attempt is, sadly, not very good, IMO. Marth was kinda lifeless in his voice, and Sheeda has a severe miscasted voice (sounds way too old, a teenage-like voice would fit her better than this young woman-like voice).

That being said, you had the very good taste to use "Heiwa no Otozure" (= Peace has come), the FE4 All A-Rank Ending song, as the first part of the vid's background music.

For this reason, and for the effort at attempting a fandub, I'll give you at least a 3/5.

  • Yeah it's not a great attempt. This was just a very quick shot by me to see if I could do it. I put this all together in a couple of hours.

Both actors are using headset mics which are very poor quality unfortunately. I didn't really give any directing but I was generally pretty happy with the acting. You may find it interesting though that the girl playing sheeda was only 17, she's pretty amazed that people find her voice so mature.

  • o.o wow i never knew marth reminded me so much of...me...

  • i prefer 90s marth over current marth >.> say what you will but that's how i feel.

  • agreed

  • The one making the voice of Sheeda, seems to have a broken mike.

  • ^^; Sorry about that. It was my first time using my new headset and I had a bad recording program.

  • Okej, then I recommend that you use Audacity.

  • I do now, thankfully.

  • I love marth!

  • Next time dont hold the mic so close to your mouth, you get that breathing sound in the mic and it makes it hard to hear you.

    Otherwise great job

  • Sheeda was a bit much in her whining scenes, but overall she did a good job . . . But Neon, sometimes I was wondering if you were voicing for the same character. Marth's/Mars' face didn't match up with the emotions in your voice. Maybe a cup of coffee will help? XD Though you did a good job with his "huh?" and his laugh. (Barely heard it, just like the anime, but it was good!) I like it!

If you haven't already, I think that you should dub the rest of the two episodes (And maybe redo this one?)

  • Sheeda's voice actor pretty much overshadowed Marth's. Marth needs more life in his voice.

By the way,how many episodes does the Fire Emblem anime consist of?

  • only 2, it´s was only a OVA

  • Interesting, looks well done. But Marth come on mate! You sound so quiet!!! Sheeda's actress got me interested on the video! XD Excellent editting skills though! Have fun making more if you want. Find someone that wants to do Doga's lines.

  • You did a awesome job, love the video!^-^

  • Wow. This is pretty good. The voices and acting are fitting. It reminds me of what my brother and I did, except he wasn't being serious at all and gave Marth a squeaky voice. ^-^

  • XD Ohhh, we did good! ^^ Great job editing this all together.
