  • i got confused, i thought he said the bass drum should alternate on 8th note counts of 100 bpm, but the way i'm hearing it based on the ticking sound of the metronome is he's alternating the bass every quarter notes.. can somebody help me out if i got it wrong.. i would appreciate that.. thank you..

  • Hey Napoleon Dynamite! Nice haircut.

  • this guy probably never gets laid.... quite the opposite of a real drummer.

  • whats wrong with you people

  • His double strokes are really sloppy.....

  • yawn...

  • he talks like jhon heder

  • jared is a fantastic teacher, but he talks like he has down syndrome! come on, you're talking to 13+ year old people here, not infants.

  • LOL

  • @thanksmisfortune hes just a bit awkward in his beginning vids, hes not like this anymore :P

  • @thanksmisfortune its for international viewers.

  • @thanksmisfortune he feels for the retards probably

  • i like the sound of his whole drums.. i wish i could be that good in tuning!

  • haha this guys so gay, but good info

  • and the cost of course i want 2 know..tanx

  • they're free

and the way you spell tanx is thanks

  • hi..what kind of cmbals u use?i know its sabian what kind of sabian is that?can you give me some tips what kind of cmbals il buy?the cheapest sabian cmbals..tanx..

  • The cheapest Sabian cymbals are the Sabian B8. But you don't wanna buy a B8 Crash, they just don't sound right. Invest in AA or HH if you want a vintage sound, or in AAX and HHX if you want a modern type of sound. Although, these are all between 150-300$ each..

  • oh man...tanx a lot...ok ill do what you said...tanx again..

  • that was a confussing lesson but thanx heaps, keep up the great work

  • thanks a bunch

  • wooooow. i actually understand you. unlike all the other people they just make it complicated

  • Short, direct, and to the point!!! No chatter or stupidity. This is how information is supposed to be transmitted!!! Less talk is more demonstration time! Other drummers who post lessons take note (AND SHUT UP ALREADY!!!)!!!

  • ok i went through the first 3 lessons. they were ok. but how does someone do the double stroke like he did? never explained it

  • Watch the double strokes video lesson from the same website (freedrumlessons). It goes through it in detail.

  • thanks

  • Your toms sound killer man! Cool stuff!

  • i've been using your techniques for learning to play the drums and you are awesome i've followed the steps to what you said and it is really helping out thanks (first comment Whoop Whoop)
