For all you Murray Melvin/Barry Lyndon/Stanley Kubrick fans, Murray appears in THE GREY MILE, a film I co-wrote and produced. It was shot in Norfolk in July 2011. If you would like to watch the short teaser trailer, please search THE GREY MILE in the youtube search bar. Thanks.
This guy is a true actor. How can ya tell? Because he has this high, elegant, British manner of speaking. But when he starts saying what Stanley said that day, he switches to a different voice, which by the way, is a pretty good impression of the way Kubrick talked. That's a real actor. They love to imitate people. Murray has a good ear for voices and accents.
@AsaNisiMasa1963 Krubrick- asked for 97 takes of Tom Cruise walking through a door, during shooting for " "Wide Eyes Shut", -Chaplin did 342 takes for a scene in" City Lights" but the record goes to Jackie Chan, who did 2900 takes for a single fight scene in" Dragon Lord"
@szilvavirag.saw him twice.first time in 1999 on the eurostar train.asked him if he was the actor who played the Rev in barry lyndon.we talked for a while.second time was in the london underground, waiting for my train to arrive,i think it was around 2003.he passed me on a platform,i recognised him straightaway.i think he did somehow recognised me.i said "hi"(surprised to see him) and he said: "hello there" while giving me a kind of,have i seen you before look.
I can't stop laughing!!! This is great!! I would recommend to the project to include subtitles, I'm from Brasil and Kubrick is my hero. Thanks.

Just curious, did he use the original take #3, or the take #3 after he changed the slate?
If it's the former, lol.
