  • 2:58 wtf, am i seeing things or did they copy and paste that clip?

  • @chappelleshow21 lol ya, they did, from like 3 episodes ago :P

  • Comment removed

  • I dont see why they just dont ripped the floor to get out

  • @jcardo2980 They need to remake season 3 and have it be like how it was in the comics.

  • y use the same scene doe come own??

  • Gargoyles don't feel the cold LIKE HUMANS. They never said they didn't get cold.....right?

  • @ThisAnimeGal They do get cold. Its just a plothole from the lousy writers.

  • @jcardo2980 omfg I totally agree with you! I can't believe they did that!

  • NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO THERE ISN'T ANY NEW GARGOYLES!!!!

  • So yea they used the exact scene from Generations when Brooklyn scratches the metal and Brooklyn becoming cold well I'm guessing this guy did his research to use sorcery and weather perhaps idc I love this show

  • The Gargoyles quest sounds like the goal of a knight and the result of a paladin. :)

  • @jcardo2980 I thought I was having a weird deja vu for a second, but yep, they're really that lazy.

  • Meh, at least it fit...

    @jcardo2980

  • gargoyles can't feel cold so why brooklyn would have been shivering is beyond me.

  • wtf youd think people would figure out by now that gas coming out of pipes means hold your goddam breath

  • Those Gargoyles costumes were crazy lifelike

  • I thought they didn't feel cold?

  • anyone eales see how that guy was touching goliths face at the end??? alittle weird if you ask me!!

  • "These claw marks suggest they went in that direction....know you, or we could have just fucking saw them walk in that direction."

  • i am disliking the Goliath narration in the begginning

  • @kyothecatlover91 why?!?!

  • hmmmm.... I like the begining of each episode where Galioth talks, realy nice wise words, I enjoy them alot ^_^ .... but this episode is creepy >.< it sort of inspires me to write alittle, I just don't want to see that sicko touch Galioth again (shivers)

  • two major things wrong with this episode:

    A) they used the exact same scene with Brooklyn scratching the wall from a different episode.

    B) i thought gargoyles were immune to the cold

  • @gpvgpvgpv No, not immune, they just have a high tolerance of it. Like people, their tolerance ranges. Like in the episode a while back where Hudson was captured by Xanatos, Brooklyn was cold there too. Which shows that he has a lower tolerance of cold than the others. Plus, rapidly freezing hot metal was sure to make him shiver, given that it didn't give his body time enough to adapt to the temperature change.

  • @PlayTheGameWithBacon ok thanks for clearing that up. i thought that in one of the first episodes goliath had said "cold does not affect us" but i was mistaken.

  • 2:57 is that lazy animators I see? Come on, that was so obvious!

  • where's angela?! missing for two episodes?

  • @jcardo2980 Fucking douche bags too lazy. -_-; *grumble*

  • I doubt the IRB would approve of this experiment haha

  • @jcardo2980 actually in the other seasons i noticed they borrowed clips so they dont need to be redrawn, often in the same episode though

  • EEEEEEWWWWW!!!!! That sicko was stroking Goliath's face!!!!!!!

  • 3:00 Apparently they think we're too stupid to catch this.

  • The last episode was so shitty, I'm not sure I want to watch this one.

  • 2:57-3:06 prof even the artiest were to damn lazy to draw

  • @jcardo2980 Woaw!

  • I thought the cold didn't bother gargoyles. o.O

  • There was this old cartoon called "Spider-man and His Amazing Friends" with an episode called "Seven Little Superheroes"; this episode reminds me of that.

  • I don't like the Goliath Chronicles, it's an awful continuation of the series. And I don't know why, but they barely show Elisa in this series, boo!

  • @CHARMED1FOREVAH i somewhat agree with you. although i do wish that they would have made a season 4.

  • smh...brooklyn ...lol thinkin bout gettin dat meal...lol

  • those are freakin good gargoyle costumes... how long do you think it took to make those?

  • WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why must you REUSE sences!?!?!?!?! 3:01 -3:07 this is how you know that the animatiopn budget is getting low.

  • Exactly the same scene and line from Brooklyn as the last demona episode

  • Omg, I hate the tromping footsteps they used in this season. Sooo annoying! >.<

  • WHY IS THE WALL ALWAYS TWO FEET THICK OHHHH NOOOOOOOOO

well at least it wasn't The Last Airbender.

    XDXD

  • Is my imagination, or the third season is full of tiny animation mistakes and stuff as low budget TV series?

  • whatever happened to bronx? he just disappeared...

  • ok who the hell did not see a mile off that it was a trap..they messed this season up so bad, even the dialogue os out of character

  • @jcardo2980 dude I totally notised the same thing.

  • wow reused scene. That's just sad lol.

  • hey where is brox

  • @nightphilips with hudson 'guarding the castle'

  • lol 3:01 that is the same scene as before when demona trapped them

  • 3.02. BOOO!!! That scene was there to in a previous episode. FAIL.

  • FEELS TWO FEET THICK!!!

    LOL

Didn't exactly the same thing happened in the episode with Demona and Angela?

  • right?

  • recycled scenes, poor drawings and lack of storyline continuity, what a shame this show went down hill, it used to be one of my favourites when i was a kid

  • while this season isnt as good as the first 2, its still WAY better than cartoons today

  • Most of them. The Last Airbender and some of the Marvel cartoons aren't too bad (except for the new Fantastic Four, the equal of season three).

  • i thought i was buggin out when i saw it lol. im glad other noticed it too =]

  • Where the hell has Angela gone to?

  • Made the production easier/cheaper. They reuse scenes and templates all the time. Usually never so blatant though. This season was seriously messed up, and didn't have the budget the 1st two did

  • i had a dream i was in a situation similar to the room brooklyn is in

  • You dreamt that you were trapped in a room and had to scratch through the walls to get out? LOL!!!

just kidding, i know what you're talking about ;D

  • I still can't believe they cancled this show. CAPITAL EDIOTS.

  • Goliath sounds like my shrink when he does this opening

  • HAHAHA,,major recyling going on here..feels two feet thick!!

  • "New FEmale friends."

Brooklyn is such a horn-dog. lol

  • @Wolvenfire86 hahahaha :)

  • @Wolvenfire86 hes just a lonely gargoyle who couldnt get angela feel bad for him honestly

  • Repeat scene. Lol.

  • I've given Gargoyles:TGC a fair chance, but this is the last straw! DX

4:41 - Gargoyles aren't adversely affected by cold! WHY throw away Weisman's established rules, just because he's gone?

  • about 2 episodes ago brooklyn said it's about two feet thick and he just said it again at 3:00

  • u beat me to it..lol

  • im glad im not the only one who noticed that

  • Brooklyn's a horndog

  • it is like SAW, (only SAW sucks, gargoyles rule)

  • Wow, this segment is like Gargoyles meets Saw.

  • Because the ratings dropped after season three started.

You see, after season two, Disney fired the creator of the series, Greg Weisman, who had been a writer and producer. Without him on team for his own creation, the series went downhill fast.

  • That scientist in the wizard outfit - is his organization the "Pax"? It sounds too much like "The Pack." Seriously, I was confused.

  • this is like saw

  • at 2:57 - 3:07 they used the same cutscnene from onee of the ealier episodes... damn, the new produsas, sucks!

  • I know! "It feels two feet thick!"

  • yep

  • Comment removed

  • Hell, surprised I caught that.

  • When broadway said "whered they go" he sounded a bit like lex

  • Where did Angela go?

  • 3:02 they took that from the episode where Demona hires the guy with the invisable suit.

  • damn they are lazy

  • Yeah, I noticed that too. I was like WTF?

  • Torture 'rooms'.....not very cagey in my opinion.

Speaking of torture rooms, Brooklyn's section reminds me of 'Phantom of the Opera'.

"....where they are trapped in a room filled with heat beyond salvation, taunted with the mirroring images of water [SOMETHING LIKE THAT]....."

I mean the book, as do the movie.

Taking up 'Language' forced me to read shit like that . I kinda hate books that describe whimsical fucks happening IRL. At least make it in a FICTITIOUS time line.

    Life rage, out.

  • IT'S A COOK BOOK!

  • 3:00 "This steel is two feet thick" hmmm? Deja vu anybody?

  • anyone kinda getin a "saw" fealing from wacthing this

  • Well gargolyes is an amazing cartoon that I loved from the 90s, there were 2 fatal mistakes to it.

1: The filler episodes in season 2 of goliath, elisa and angela's journey went on far to long, and most of season 2 was made up of it.

2: Season 3 detracted from so many good elements in season 1-2, and having new writers and script writers just broke it.

  • Those episodes weren't fillers, the creators planned to revisit those elements (such as go into the story of the Japan and London gargoyles, and the space alien guy) in future stories, but they never got the chance.

However, I believe they will be played out in the comic books.

  • *shakes head* I know everyone else has pointed it out already, but its still unbelievable.....

  • Lol opps after I posted that I seen that people have noticed the same thing lol. The recycled clip makes it funny.

  • Look at 3:02 they recycled the same scene from an earlier episode where they are in the ship where he scratches the wall and says it is 2 feet thick.

  • 3:00 is the same clip as in a previous episode! haha... same line too!

  • Why is lexington so afraid of that cat?

He's stronger he can kill that cat!

  • why are people afraid of spiders?

  • I don't know he is the smallest and weakest of them.

  • The return of the Hotel Cabal? I haven't started watching it yet, so I'm just guessing.

  • Super heating and then freezing the room? I think he was just trying to pasteurize Brooklyn. Gargoyle milk! Now bacteria free!

  • The two feet thick steel door is back to haunt Brooklyn!

  • @SuperSaiyanJoseph imfao poor brook

  • At 3.07 did they really just use the same clip as in the ship episode when they get trapped? They used the same "The steele is two feet thick."

  • they sure did lol

  • dude, i totally noticed! was about to comment but you beat me to the punch! kudos!

  • it ain't cheap thats just being damn lazy LOL, like come on the room was bright and all of a sudden dark...gotta be shiting me!!!

  • does brooklyn have an obsession with scratching through two-feet-thick steel or were the writers out of good, fresh idea's

  • Anyone else getting the 'Saw' vibe in this episode?

  • man brooklyn is real horny now. poor guy find him a girl!!

  • i though the cold didnt affect the gargoyles

  • i just saw brooklyn scratching at a door saying the steal is 2 ft thick... and it wasnt in this episode

  • That was 2 episodes back. Episode 9, think.

  • they used it again i guess >.> it was also in that episode were Demon teams up with Angela and the clan to "save" Goliath.

  • torture cages reminded me of SAW.

  • 2:57 is a recycled clip from Generations (Season 3, episode 09)! =O

  • i know!! i was lik, zomgsh! xO

  • the doctor sounds like tigger from winnie the pooh :p Maybe he's the same voice actor?

  • Yeah, it's Jim Cummings. He does play Tigger and Winnie the Pooh (both!) in most Pooh cartoons except the really early ones. In Gargoyles, he also voices Dingo. Great voice actor. Too bad this episode looks pretty bad due to all the recycled clips...

  • its more of a fear thing despite the conditions your own perception affects your movements brooklyn was shivering out of mental state not physical

  • they did this in most of the old cartoons. Do you remember the animated spider man series that aired on fox in the 90s? They did a lot of this there also

  • Sooo, wait a minute. I thought Gargoyles didn't feel the cold as humans do. Even in Norway, Goliath and Angela weren't affected by the cold weather, so why is Brooklyn the exception in his cell? o__O

  • You know I had a problem with that, the creatures look rather reptilian, I think they should turn to stone during the cold as all reptiles tend to hibernate in cold temperatures.

  • Yeah, that makes sense, though if they turned to stone in the cold, I think Elisa would have had a bit of a problem in Norway :-p Hehe.

    Thanks guys.

  • hehehe

  • strange feeling of dejavu!! Search

    Gargoyles 3-9-3, time: 2:03

  • lets not forget this a cult classic, even when it was first came out. I love it to bits though

  • Even as a kid the 3rd season was never my favorite, but I still watched it because I loved the characters so much.

It makes so much sense now that I know the original creators didn't make it.

  • why doesn't he go to Avalon and live there?

  • 4:10 looks like they all fallen to JIGSAW`s games... omg X_X

  • 2:58 till 3:06 is from three episodes ago from where they were locked in the ship, kind of cheap :S

  • kind of sad. WHY THE HELL DID THEY FIRE THE ORIGINAL ANIMATORS/WRITERS!!!

Its so easy to notice the drop in general quality.

  • They did that? No wonder.

In the third season, they kind of ripped off some of the conflicts from the X-men. Mutants VS the "Friends of Humanity" (FOE).

  • HOLD UP! not sure if anyone else said this cuz i didnt look at all the comments, but if u go back to season 3 ep 9 part 3 of generations, at 2:10, they used the part of the gargoyles being trapped before. where broadway says "were trapped" and brooklyn says "it must be 2 ft thick"

  • Yes your right. I had instintly noticed that too when watching this. =(

  • i know it's sad isnt it, that they had to do that. but then i remember they did that a lot in the 90's spiderman show. kept reusing some of the same scenes

  • Brooklyn: New Female Friends..

    Guess Brooklyn's still looking for a mate...tak tsk tsk..sigh..

  • animators are getting lazy. they reused a lot of old shots from previous episodes

  • That's not true, Aluminum and several other metals can withstand rapid temperature changes. Xyrex glass included. Also, did you notice that Bronz said 'ow' when he touched the red hot metal with his hands, but did nothing when he was standing on it?

  • I thought they turned to stone at sunrise, regardless to wether they could see the sun or not. But in this the sun was up and the guy had to open the door for goliath to turn to stone. They must have a new director at the helm.

  • repetitive much?

  • I think he meant they were not *as* affected. Remember, Angela was shivering in that episode as well.

  • these writers are stupid.. if u go back to the jorneys from Avalon, when they fought Odin, Goliath said Gargoyles are not affected by cold. So why the hell is Brooklyn shivering. An aint it wier when ever they get caught that they are all always standin huddled nicely together to so they can all be shocked of caught in a net. An y not try 2 claw ur way though the ceiling or floor

  • They are affected by cold, but just not as badly as humans, cause Angela and Goliath and Bronx were cold in that episode

  • How many times have we seen Brooklyn claw the wall in that same manner follwed by "the steel is 2feet thick"

  • Man season 3 is really bad! I like season 1 and 2 better! Who's with me?

  • season 2 is my faverit. if you dont like this then dont rate it 5star so i know that the video is usless

  • I said I like season 2 as well though there r some episodes of season 3 that I like this is 1 of them.

  • "this claw marks suggest they went in that direction"

gee thanks goliath where the hell would we be without you

  • ok, so from about 3:02 to 3:08, they repeated a scene from a few episodes ago

  • When those two dudes go down, Goliath is like "okay, that just pisses me off!"

  • LMAO!!! THEY REUSED A CELL AT 3:01 ahahahaha!!! even the same line "2 feet thick" so lame without greg weisman

  • 3:02-3:07 is of one of the earlier episodes. once i find it I'll post it.

  • yea its from the ep where demona tries to kill goliath ..... wait XD there are a lot of those the one with the invisible guy in the red suit

  • i don't get it, in the eye of Oden episode Goliath said that the cold does not effect gargoyles and here brooklyn is shivering.....i wish they had the original creators involved in this

  • what happen to Broingz?

  • whats broingz do u mean bronx

  • yea

  • on 3:02 tats the same scene from 2 episodes ago

  • damn! you're right! X_x;

    the quality of this season is cheaper than I thought. -_-;

  • Where is Goliath's Daughter? She hasn't been around since the last episode.

  • They used that exact same sequence with Brooklyn and the steel door in another episode

  • I noticed that too. It's from the one where Demona tricked them.

  • 1 how does it snow inside of a room

2 they reused a scene weak as hell

    3 wheres angela

4 Watch the last part of Hunters Moon (when demona gets a giant airship crashing into her face) compare the animation to this and the quality went down considerably

5 at 6:18 I could have sworn Gargoyles turn to stone IN THE DAYTIME WHETHER THEY'RE DIRECTLY IN THE SUN OR NOT. I could be wrong

    6 their
