@SBSky well wNOP is *WAY* out of date by now... compix has acutally be totally rewritten since the version used in wNOP
That said you can get compiz working on puppy fairly easily by installing 3d driver packages and compiz packages build for your version of puppy compiz will not work with JWM or ICEWM which are the default window managers in Puppylinux so you have to install something like LXDE or XFCE first
