No more footage from me, I just filmed these as clips for myself mainly, I didn't want to bootleg the entire thing. However there are a few videos on YouTube from the night... so no doubt over the next few days people will get around to uploading what they got. It still is pretty early. I'm hoping someone got a full video of Death Disco. :)
Youtube doesn't seem to allow links to be posted, but go to PiLs official Facebook page and there are links to a photo slideshow from Leeds, and links to reviews and setlist from Birmingham (including a review I did myself).
Great arty filming. Caught the energy on the man. Good job you were at the front and did not shoot the empty spaces further back. £40 a ticket probably a factor. This is Yorkshire you know! Great live band, loved the banter betwen songs. Go see now or next year. Other downloads of the night at "channelcamel"
Annalisa, Death Disco, Rise, Albatross, Public Image, Psychopath, Four Enclosed Walls, Religion II, Banging The Door, Disappointed, Bags, Memories, Flowers of Romance, Pop Tones, The Suit, Sun, Chant, (This is Not A) Love Song, Careering, Warrior, USLS 1, Tie Me to the Length of That, Open Up
No problem. I just hope people seeing the videos will want to go and check them out if they haven't already!
They certainly didn't disappoint. They played a couple of tracks I wasn't expecting too... it just all flowed seamlessly. All the tracks sound great next to one an other.
I'm sure they played over 2 hours.
An absolutely amazing night! I'm sure these gigs won't be the last we see of PiL. :)
Yeah I wasn't expecting the tracks from John's solo album, and you're right it all flowed together perfectly. They've clearly taken a lot of time and effort in rehearsals to put together a great show, a brilliant mix of familiar classics and rarities. All the band were great, Lu Edmonds is incredible. And I agree, if anyone hasn't got tickets yet then it's definitely worth going to see them in the next week.
Its true that the ticket price has put quite a lot off from buying, but they played for 2 hours 15 mins on Mon in Birmingham and I certainly felt it was worth the money - definitely so compared to the mega prices that others charge now.
thanks for this vid!!!!good sound, brilliant,,,

Hah! :) Was a great night. I was happy to be up front with a few people that weren't dickheads.
The 'Anger is an energy' chant we started during Rise was great.

The banter between songs was great :)
As for the arty filming, it was supposed to be just black & white... I don't know why my camera did that. :/ Weird. Hah!
