I remember going to see this movie motherf*cking 10 or 11 years ago and sh*t.

I really liked it and got p*ssed off when it flopped. I also bought the soundtrack and listened to it daily until I got the DVD.

But I watched it again recently and have decided that it's a cheesy c*nt of a movie with stupid voiceover, one of the few post-Titanic DiCaprio movies that sucks, a disgrace when compared to the nonetheless average novel it's based on, and silly superficial tripe.

I have always wanted to travel and go on adventures since I was at least six. This film directly influenced me visiting Thailand twice once in 2004 and again in 2006. Thailand was a blast. Yeah there is a seedy side but I was impressed with the fantastic climate, great food and easy going nature of everyone there. The Full Moon Party was hands down the best night of my life in May 2004. Kahp kun Kahp, Thailand for the memories.
