brightness and contrast can make marking on the animal look like something else. it looks like a barred owl to me. like you are getting a profile shot of the right side of its face. it looks up and down then turns its head away. i am a paranormal investigator and can usually pic that stuff out pretty easy. you cannot jump to conclusions about every strange picture

I am not saying what it is but I will say this, It can not be an owl. there is NO WAY and owl would just hand out that close to the ground unless it had just captured pray and had not taken off. if that were the case it would have only been a very short time. that kind of bird would never just hang out at that level.

i was just wondering if you have ever seen an owl before the come in all shapes and colours. im a bigfoot follower looking at clips and from others but this is an owl they have huge eyes sunken into head and their face is different feathers it looks like it just looks to the camera then turns around and you are getting the back is head and a side profile i would google OWLS before i load up a clip.

I see two choices here. The owl's eye and side of head is captured and then the owl turns it's head so all you get is the back of it's head and wing hanging down (that's what it looks like to me).

The second option is that an owl turned into a bigfoot.

I have to agree with the owl verdict given, though it does beg to question why an owl is perched so low. Everything in this video does look very much like an owl checking out the cameras with the owl turning to look at the different cams. The humanoid face is curious and interesting, though given the context, I am thinking it is an artifact of folded wing and tail feathers that is being seen. Given what little we see of whatever this critter is, that is the best analysis I can give.

In my opinion it is not an owl. First reason is the feathers in the frontal view are not laying at the proper angles. Second reason is the so called beak is in no way protruding at a proper angle. Third reason is the so called owls location or height off the ground is unusual for this length of time at a time of day that hunting is at its max for an owl. Just my humble opinion. Best.

Hi Scott, nice capture whatever "it" may be. What about the trail cam opposite this cam in the other tree? Did it trip or capture anything? That is truly creepy. Good stuff.

Too many assumptions, speculations and "what if's". The original footage looks like an owl, but once the enhancement and whatever starts it looks like it could be anything you want to see in it.

It looks to me like there may have been some movement of the subject, which does look like a bird, while the photo was being taken, causing a blur.

It starts of with what looks like the rt profile of the Owl, then it seems to turn to the rt on the branch ,this brings the left eye into view then you get the eye shine, it continues to turn and flexes the wings, Its pretty certain its an Owl, just my opinion

interesting but thing is when you start manipulating photo anything can appear before your eyes. i once made 2 bear cubs in a tree look like a gigantic ape like creature. ears of bears became eyes of bf. 2 bears morphed into one large torso--and so on.

but i like your efforts and i think for sure bf is in your area

@allenst I do not "manipulate" the photo. The first in the sequence is an enlargement, then next two are simple negative images with the brightness and contrast adjusted. No "Photoshop" magic going on....

If it was an Owl....was there a place for the owl to be standing on? Are owls that tall. The final image looks like a primate of some sort. Then I watched it again. I have to go against the owl. I'd say it was a young BF as Squatcher says playing peek a boo.
