1) Most accurate is to go outside during a clear night.

2) Face the North star (Polaris, tail of the Big Dipper/Plow point to it)

3) Your right side is on the East.

4) Don't trust where the sun rises... this changes everyday all through out the year and a compass is ONLY for magnetic North, not always accurate and changes often on many places around the globe.

You cant go wrong by knowing where Polaris is located, God gave them for this reason... bag all the other methods... LOL

A couple of things... This is a very blue ritual. Smooth, relaxed, soothing. Slow down, and intensify. BTW, ve-geburah (right side) ve-gedulah (right side).

Remember, the Tree of Life is subjective you back into it. Geburah is your right shoulder and Gedulah is your left. The Qabalistic Cross is done right side then left opposite Roman Catholics and the same as Eastern Orthodox.

No, I used to vibrate the Holy names slowly, but my mentor taught me to do it all very quickly(as long as will and intent are correct)...'specially when I do the merkava technique which requires I do several rituals first...done slowly it would take all day...I can do all 6 rituals within 20 minutes and still affect the ethers.

@Vissago22 This is a bit -- okay, a lot -- belated, but the vibrations of the divine names are unique to each person. Modern Magick has a very good description of what the vibrations should feel like when done properly and the tone/pitch/duration/etc for each person is not necessarily the same to achieve that sensation.

Maybe it would be good to prepare a room just for rituals, if you have the space. It's a good effort though. Moove slower and with more focus. Ande the jeans under the robe... forget them. Use magical garments. You can become a good magician and a good teacher, but pay attention to details. They are fundamental in the Magical Art. Keep going. The vídeo is very nice.

When I was initiated into the merkava, I was told it was all wrong to do slow slicing..it should be fast and assertive just as we would practice kung-fu..note the shaolin "stomp" when I step forward in the sign of the enterer..this vibrates through other dimensions. Most importantly, you should be able to "see" what signs you are drawing in the air. I am an artist so this came easy to me..

The purpose of the LBRP is to cleanse the energies of the surrounding area so that the magician can safely perform whatever magic he wills without fear and distraction of otherwordly entities and energy bodies. It also cleanses the mind to perform the Quabbalistic Cross of Light, which PauliGMac did in his video first before doing the LBRP. I encourage you to pay a visit to the Veritas Society online, there are ample resources there for the practicing magician, or the merely curious.

the only other guy I've seen do the L.B.R.P. is in my friends list: "Frater(something)", the best book with lessons in all High magic is Donald Michael Kraigs "Modern Magic"...Bells,just like at the begging of school or martial arts class signifys the "begining and ending" of something important..but more importantly..bells ring and "vibrate" through multiple dimensions.

As far as the comment about the surroundings: yes, ambiance assists in focusing on the task at hand, but it has no affect on ability, only experience does.
