i always get my ass wooped in gears 3,in close range i always panic & i forget to take out my shot gun,& i always get double teamed ... any tips?

@111843b me I use high high high now with gears 3 the have even more options with a number 1-25 that was the beta....but the faster u can move to target someone the better. For advise....imagine if that targeting marker was there as if u are holding lt at all times.... so when u move ur character without hitting it u can see where it would be. So adjust ur character to opposite team then quickly hit LT and RT almost at the same time....that's a pop shot in a nut shell.

what r ur setting? high medium medium? have a tough times tracking moving targets when I aim on someone..also it seems like when you aim the "piper" (targeting symbol)it is already on target...how do u do that, any tips

i know how to be good at gears of war.....Be good with the gnasher shotgun....Well that sucks cause it just figure i suck with the shot gun. Thumbs up if u role with the lancer

@bluevoltkoi use cover and don't attempt to have a shootout with the modded Guy. If its the whole team then its a cheap win. Also some peeps like me who are good with hammy it may seem like is modded or if a hammy gets host and their fast u could get downed in 2 seconds. Main advice stay in good cover and if u move out have cover nearby...thanks for watching.

I'm really starting to hate the fuck outta this game. Been playing for over a year now and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pop a blood vessel pretty soon. Pisses me off. Tried aiming, blind firing, rolling, moving, Lancer, Hammerburst, connecting more than half a clip on opponents and they barely go down at all. Shotgun battles are bullshit. I shoot them 4 times and it's like I'm throwing pebbles at them, they turn around n shoot once I blow up. WTF? Anyone willing to help, msg Doppelganger X

Gears was hard to master, but once you learn Shotgun > Lancer you'll start to get better. Plus this guy is right about the movement thing, if you cant get the roll/wall bounce to work your dead.

@xUPNCOMINGx Yeah man, all the tips ive been getting are just play long enough to know the maps, but some stuff helped like get the power wepons, and i looked up wall bouncing which help with the speed a lot! you just have to play a bunch i guess

I don't agree with you when you repeatedly said " You need to get the power weapons to get kills and get a good k/d. That is untrue imo. If you're good with your main weapons ( in my case hammer burst / gnasher ), you can most certainly get a good k/d and get lots of kills. I never try to get the power weapons cause i usually suck with them. I usually get the kill on the guy with the power weapon.

@rydeen18 Everyone has a differnt play style....power weapons once your good with them can allow your team to have more control over the map and pin players..........I am all about the Shotty and Hammerburst...but if the other team gets all of the power weapons you wont have a chance to control the map.

@SkatePunk7 Yeah it's fun I beat it and it was good all the way through, lots of action. The dialogues pretty funny and also kinda outrageous, There's a co-op mode and a multiplayer score mode I haven't tried them yet but yep it's a solid game. Check out IGNs or someone elses review.

So, do you only play Execution??? And, the only thing I can think of that I disagree with is the power weapon part. It although yes guarentees the kill if hit, but in the long run it upsets those who aren't as good with the those weapons. I mean the torque bow is one of the most complicated weapons that I had to learn to use. Although now I'm good with it, I still don't rush to it to in other words make a crap ton of "Spawn Kills" No one likes a spawn killer. Especially on River with the torque.
