Quick question??? Are the prolonged arks of electricity at all dangerous to a high voltage transformer? That sounds like Thor, Whipping the soils of the week a million times a second.
The HV side electrodes eventually arced over to the case and carbon tracked down the pvc stand off. The transformers held up just fine though. I still use them on one of my Tesla coils.
You used those capacitors ?are microwave ovem capacitors ?

Killer arcs! Well done. Are these arcs sustainable for durations such as for the recording of this video? Or are the trannies now toasted?
