i would say engine is blowen it looks like the sleve and piston got way to hot and cooked them brobably try new sleeve and piston it might work and clutches maybe
im not sure but as long as i have been into nitro i have never seen the piston and sleve so black, my guess its a blown engine or you overheated your engine. hope this helps

Instead of wasting your money on fuel get yourself an E-maxx Brushless Edition 1st of all its because they are cheap 2nd of all they have great running times specially when you have lipo batteries 3rd it can bash =) so stop wasting your money on a $900+ Baja 5b

yea, it really is cheaper in the long run, and yea they r durable, the reason y people say they break so much is because they r not supposed to do the things a t-maxx/savage/mgt can do like take those huge jumps with control.
i may not get a 5b now, my truck doesn't go 4 as much as i hoped. what im going to do is use the money from the holidays that i get to either fix this engine, get a new os or ofna motor, or do a big block conversion.

well in the long run, gas is cheaper than electric or nitro, electric is like $600 to get the truck plus 2 lipos is around $900
