The "Halo" around the moon is nothing more than the light from the moon shinning through clouda or particles of dust or whatever that is in our atmosphere. That plane did not "turn into something else".....FAA rules state that aircraft such as PLANES need to have flashing lights on them in order to be identified by air traffic controllers.
