yeah, libby was. he really knew what he was doing on the drums, and he really took it passionately. too bad that billy and him had to split up after 30 years. :( :(
One of the main reasons was that Liberty wrote some of the songs with Billy and he lived with the anger for that for over 30 years (for not getting any credits for the songs), and then, in 2007, he snapped and filed a law suit against Joel for copyrights or something, and the case is still going on today.

This is one of two songs on 52nd Street I don't really like. It's too choppy. But the rest of the album pretty much rules.

took me 20 years to finally visit 52st after buying this back in 78,, still think libby was an underated drum magician,,top post
