  • You work really neat sir..great job.

  • I wish I had seen this earlier...Do you think that if you took the same pictures you used, and sized them up, you'd over come the weight/size issue??

  • wow, GREAT job! you really sand these great!

  • hi again would this motor make enough lift to get the plane of the ground

    hope you reply:)

  • what kind of foam is it

    :)

  • I love your vids dude ^_^

  • hey did u use scissors to cut out the foam if not what was that thing you brought and it has a 6 inch wire and is hot as fuck?

  • @MiizManda I use a box cutter knife for most of the cutting. (The type with the sectioned blades that you can break off). The other thing was a "hot wire". It gets hot like a sodering iron and cuts right through foam. You can get them at most craft stores like Micheals and JoAnns and Hobby Lobby.

  • @THExxxTINMAN o ok thank you so much

  • Very, very nice job on both the video and the place. I may have to copy your style for both one day and post a few of my own builds. I tend to like the "build the box" for the electronics and then build up the foam around until it looks like a plane. Still do a bit more carving and sanding than I like, but it does make for a strong aircraft. I suppose I am more afraid of foam dust, resin dust, and such than you are. Maybe. Excellent video/project!

  • can you please send me a list of all electric controls and other parts needed and where i can get them?

  • can you please send me a list of all electric controls and other parts needed.

  • how much would you charge to build one for someone? With no electronics.

  • I have no idea where I got them. I spent all day just googling images of p-51's until I found one that was easy to measure. Just go to google and type in p-51 and click the image link above ithe search bar. You'll find it.

  • would u be able to tell me were u got the images for this plane and if u could send me a link

  • thanks! you really helped me out. i had the rough dimensions by simple scaling, but i really needed the exact specifications!

  • This video is meant to be a tool to teach those of you how to do certian task that you may not have experience in. I chose a P-51 because it's a crowd favorite and I know it has flaws. It's 10 pounds of sh*t in a two pound bag. Please take it for what it is and go build one better than mine.

  • @THExxxTINMAN

i wasnt trying to criticize your work, i was just asking... ill be sure to let you know if i find the right prop though! also, i could you give me the dimensions of your cess-nah? i loved your videos on it and i am currently building one of my own after your design. i have the wing made and sanded to perfection with dimensions of 4 ft x 1 in x 8 in. i just need the height of the rudder, width of the stabilizer, and length of the fuselage in scale to my wing. please help!

  • The rudder is 6" high from the rear stab. The stab is 17.5" wide and 7.5" long at the center (including the 1.5' elevator). The fuse is 32 inches long and the CG is roughly 8" from the motor mount on the nose of the fuse. Your wing is the exact same size as mine.

  • would'nt a 3 blade prop look more realistic?

  • No, a four blade prop would look more realistic. If you can find one in a 6" x 4.7 pitch, be sure to let me know.
