I just realized...This is just a cover band. No one goes to see the original aging guitarist, keyboardist or bassist, people go to hear the "VOICE" of the band. That's why Steve Smith left the band (Drummer) because the band forced steve out because of his hip problems. Nothing but Karaoke in Manilla!

I went last night to a sold out Journey concert in Houston - 17,000 people - BEST concert I've ever been to - Neil Schon was incredible & Arnel Pineda sounded so goos and he brought so much energy to the stage - I had the best time of my life!!!!

Pineda went all last year singing at regular key this is pretty new. my friend had to do that in his band because he developed a throat problum.

I love arnel.....but I said it from day one.....just like the other singers before....neal schon will wreck arnel....I never thought I would see the day where journey cheated by lowering their songs a half step....especially only a year after hiring a new singer.....it's the beggining of the end of the arnel era.....neal schon will wreck another voice because of his need to tour relentlessly with songs that are too vocally demanding for that type of touring....it's sad really

Thanks, man. I appreciate the compliment. Actually, I was using a Canon S5 point and shoot. The only problems I notice with it are (1) no way to roll back the bass frequency to avoid all that "booming" bass echo and (2) the faces are overexposed a lot when the spotlight is shining directly on them. But I'm pretty happy otherwise.
